It was a great day outside on the planet known ass remnant well all except for one person and that was Glynda Goodwitch. Why is it a bad day for her? Well that's a simple one. She is very sick, and the problem is the doctors don't know what it is and they said that it could take a while before she could return to work. She called Ozpin.
Glynda "Professor Ozpin?"
Ozpin "Ah Glynda. Why weren't you in class today?"
Glynda "I'm very sick and the doctors told me not to come to work until they are certain that I can come back."
Ozpin "Did they say what it was?"
Glynda "*Cough* No the didn't they said that it's something that they have never seen before."
Ozpin "*Sigh* Alright take as much time as you need and rest up so that you can recover as soon as possible."
Glynda "I'm sorry."
Ozpin "it's not your fault that you got sick. I'll find someone to substitute for your class until you can return."
Ozpin hangs up and starts calling people and they are all busy.
Ozpin "Who isn't busy right now?"
He starts going through different books of his old students who are qualified for the job and comes across a few names. He calls them and they are too busy with their families that they can't help at the moment. He has one name of someone that hasn't talked to him in years.
Ozpin "He is the last one."
He calls the number and someone answers.
??? "Hello?"
Ozpin "Yes. Is this YN LN."
YN "Who's this?"
Ozpin "Its Ozpin calling from Beacon Academy."
YN "Oh shit how have you been?"
Ozpin "Rather well hey do you recall that day that you said you'd help me out if I ever needed it?"
YN "Yeah I do recall that why?"
Ozpin "Glynda is sick with some kind of an illness that has not even been discovered and they said she needs to be off of work until she can recover. I need a combat instructor and you are the best fighter that I've ever seen."
YN "This is the second time I'll be an instructor for you. *Sigh* I'll do it. I'll see you tomorrow morning."
YN hangs up and looks around then grabs all of his stuff then grabs his grenade launcher and places it on the back of his pants then walks out the door and heads to the bullhead taking off to Beacon.
The next day
YN arrives at beacon and notices that it hasn't changed since he was there last.
YN "Damn how did this place manage to be in good shape?"
He then heads inside of the academy and heads to Ozpins office.
Ozpin "YN glad to have you here. Follow me if you please."
YN follows him to the combat room and Ozpin tells him.
Ozpin "I won't tell you about this because you already know the ropes but I'm begging you please don't hurt the students."
YN "No promises Ozpin if they make me mad I'm going to hurt them mentally. It's no threat that's a promise."
Ozpin "Very well."
Ozpin leaves and YN sits down in the chair where he kicks his feet up on the desk waiting for the class to get there.
