This is a problem

So after everything went down there was a strange night when I just woke up and when I did I had powers. That was 3 years ago and I trained tell I became vary good at it. I could use portals to teleport things and myself. Apparently I was not the only one I went to school and a lot of people had powers. I was a senior at the time and was vary close to the teachers so I used the information I got from them to keep the school from figuring out what my power is. When I left school I found out the next year they forced everyone to do a test to find out the power it was mandatory. Once my friends got out of school we went all around the u.s and made our group bigger that makes up where we are now. Things really got bad lately people have been trying to git a cure to stop people from having powers of corse that's cases problems. Now we have avoided most of the problems in our order but nothing could have prepared us for what was about to come next it was going to become a lot worse. I woke up and was enjoying my coffee and standing on my balcony with my girlfriend who had not clue I was in the truth seekers but I knew she was but then the tv turned onto a emergency broadcast I knew something bad happened instantly. It said that all people who had powers was going to be forced to show their powers that went over like a led balloon
There was riots in the streets and I made the truth seekers to have a emergency meeting we decided to take the side of the rioters because we thought we should be allowed to keep our powers a secret. So we got ready and wore our mask that everyone has and that was the first time we ever took a step out into the light we marched down Washington DC and then when they started gassing us we used our powers to blow up the gas cans things really got heated when the police and national guards started using there powers I ordered everyone not to fight just to run away and meet up and the relay point.
