iris pov~
i just landed in london, and i already know i'm going to love this place. i grabbed a cab and went to my apartment complex. i was starting to wonder if i was going to meet anyone while i was here, for i just got out of a toxic relationship and i'm just looking for someone to clear my head. by the time i unpacked it was dinner time and i decided to go to the restaurant downstairs, i wore a tight fitted red dress with a pair of nude heels, i didn't want to get all done up so i just left my hair with its natural waves and put on a light face of makeup. when i sat down at my table a boy came up to me and asked if i was from around here, i told him no but i think it was clear after i spoke. the boy told me his name was ethan and i told him mine. ethan was cute, but he wasent really my type. while me and ethan were talking i look over to see a boy glancing at me, i could have sworn he was the most beautiful boy i have ever seen. after dinner ethan walked me back to my apartment and said that if i needed anything he was only a couple apartments away.

~ the next morning

iris pov~
i woke up very late and decided that i would explore london with ethan today. he took me to his favorite places, and on the way home he decided to talk about some of the people in our apartment complex. he told me that most of the girls were bitches and had their eyes on a boy named hero. he told me that hero was a nice boy but he tended to play with girls hearts. he was just what i needed, i knew i wasn't going to fall in love with him, i just needed a distraction. when me and ethan went to dinner, i decided that i was going to introduce myself to hero. i glanced at him, realizing that it was the boy from the night before and saw that he was wearing all black with a smirk that spelt your going to fall in love all over. but despite the warning signs of my conscience, i decided to talk to him anyway.

"hey," i said, "i'm new here."
"i can tell," he chuckled. "so you want me like show you around or something?"
i laughed at his cocky remark. "no, my friend ethan already did."
i saw him look at ethan and give him a dirty look.
"the names hero by the way."
"the names iris by the way," i mocked.
"that's a very beautiful name," he said.
"thankyou, i have to go now but it was nice meeting you."

we ended up exchanging numbers and when i went back to my apartment i noticed that he lives right next to me.

hero's pov
i saw a girl approach me she was quite short but really fucking hot. when she started talking to me, i tried to sound smooth but i ended up just sounding cocky. when i went back to my apartment i noticed that she lives in the apartment right next to me. this is going to be fun i thought to myself.
