It was a shame that summer had come to an end for Jorel, but he was glad to get eighth grade over with so that he could just move onto high school already, even if he was horrible at turning in whatever work he was given.
Jorel had gotten up and got dressed, making his way down stairs. Jorel had plugged his earbuds into his phone and started blasting out some Arch enemy.
"I crave your blood." Jorel whispered the words to Ravenous as he walked out of the house.
He made his way to school, getting the original hungry stares from the girls he didn't really like as he entered. Wandering into the gates of this middle school, J found some of his friends.
"Hey faggot!" Jimmy exclaimed excitedly to Jay and slapped the back of his head.
"Gah! Jim!" Jay spat.
Jorel loved Jim, but he should learn boundaries.
"Oh you love me." Jimmy rolled his eyes as he wrapped an arm loosely and sloppily around Jorel.
"How was your summer?" Jimmy asked curiously.
"It was.... meh..." Jorel tried not to sound sad, but the truth was hiding behind his words. He hated himself the entire summer.
Jordon gave him those sad, puppy eyes.
"You didn't do... It again, have you?" Jorel sighed.
'Why do you have to ask me shit like that, man?"
"It's just a question Jay, we're worried for you. We haven't seen you hardly at all these past twoi months and-"
"Everyone be sure to get your schedules now! The bell rings in five minutes!" An administrator exclaimed.
They all lined up as they were handed their schedules and then made their ways to their new classes. Jorel read that he had Physical Education first, oh boy.
"At least Brian's with me." Jay said aloud and mae his way to the locker rooms and almost fell flat on his face when something lunged at his back.
"AHH!" Jay screamed.
"JAY! JAY! JAY! JAY!" Era, the "Little one" exclaimed.
"OH MY GOD!" Everyone was looking at them, but Jay didn't care, he embraced Era as tight as he could.
'I missed you, brooo!' She yelled really loud.
"You have P.E with me?" jorel asked.
"Well.. yeah, but, I'm not going to class here, the fuck do you take me for Jay? I'm a big girl." Era smirked.
"Move, sluts!" Brian came trudging through, wearing a furry tail.
Jorel and Era started literally dying at this, Brian soon joining them.
"Oh my- *breathe* fucking god!" Era wiped a tear from her eye. "You are so fucking gay." In which she got a middle finger as a response.
They eventually got up and went their seperate ways. Brian and Era making their ways over to their friends little secluded hideout behind the school, and Jorel actually going to class, just seeing how it would be. As always, the girls were staring him up and down and cat calling him. Jay just scoffed and kept walking until he made it to the boys locker room and was safe for now.
"Get your uniforms if you don't have them yet here and dress out now!" Coach Paoletti exclaimed as the bunch of boys entered the room, very loudly.
*Time skip to when all the boys are sitting on their role call numbers*
Jorel was sitting cross-legged on his new role call number for the year as his eyes wandered to all of the farmilliar faces from a few months ago. A new face popped up as Jay was scanning his eyes from person to person. A cute little boy with blonde hair ever so slightly brushing over his right eye. When coach took role, all eighth grade students were ordered to run a lap around the field. Jorel wanted to know more about this shy, little boy, so he caught up with him, making him slow down in the process.
"Hi! I noticed you at role call and just wanted to talk." Jorel tried to not sound like a creepy kid that was just watching him for no reason, and mentally scolded himself for giving the boy that vibe.
"Oh, hi. I'm new to this school. My name is Daniel, but you can call me Danny." Danny told him.
"I'm Jorel, but you can call me Jay." Jorel had told him and then they shared a very firm hand shake.
Little did they know that they soon would become something much bigger.
