" This hospital looks pretty busy." Jimin said walking through rushing of people.
" It's one of the most important hospital for a reason." Jungkook replied boredly.
They reached at a quieter area of the hospital.
" Hello, sir." one of Jimin's man came up to him.
" Yes, where's the room?"
" Please follow me, sir."
They both followed the man into a room. It was a mortuary where dead bodies where kept. There were few more men inside it. One of the storage was open revealing a body of a dead man.
" So, This is the man?" Jungkook said going closer.
" Yes, sir. Apparently, this man's family hasn't yet contacted for his funeral." the man said.
" Where was he working at?" Jimin asked.
" He had been working at The Dxl courier company."
Jungkook and Jimin both looked at each other. " Wasn't the company closed about five years ago?" Jimin asked.
" Yes, sir. It was closed after police found illegal drugs in their parcels."
Jimin scratched his forehead, " What exactly was his position?"
" Sir, have a look at this." the man handed him a file.He took it and read it together with Jungkook.
" A mere worker for shifting the parcels?" Jungkook said confused.
" Why would a man with such a low position murder?" Jimin said still looking at the file.
" Sir, i guess there is one reason for that."
" And what is it?" Jimin asked looking at his men.
" For money." he replied.
Later, Jimin sent his men to do more investigation and they two left the hospital. After getting inside Jimin's car, they stayed silent for a while.
" So, that man was bribed to kill." Jungkook said.
" He probably had been ordered by someone important in this industry." Jimin said while driving.
flashback eight years ago
It was opening of " The Sones" company and a party had been held at one of the most big mansions of Korea. This company was one of the many companies of Mr.Son. He was the most influential man in the business industry.
A thirteen year old Jungkook was teasing Rosé during the party. Their parents had left them while they converse with other guests.
" Your hair looks fat." Jungkook said.
" Shutup, you weirdo." Rosé glared at him.
" Your hair looks weirder." he grinned.
"I said shutup!!!" she shouted.
" shutup~~" he imitated Rosé.
"YOU!!" she got up and ran to him while jungkook tried to get away. She chased her down the corridor of the mansion shouting, " COME BACK JUNGKOOK!" Jungkook just ran ahead laughing. When they reached a little further, suddenly they heard a scream. A painful scream of a man. They both stopped and jungkook grabbed Rosé's hand towards a big pillar. They hid behind it while Jungkook said Shh. There was another scream but not as loud as before.They decided to look at the room from where the sound had come. It was just at the end of the corridor. Both of them tiptoed to the room. Its door was half-open. They both peeked inside and saw a man holding another man who was bloodied all over his stomach. Looked like the man had been stabbed and it was him who had screamed. The kids were wide-eyed, sweats forming on their forehead. Rosé shrieked after seeing the blood. Jungkook hurriedly covered her mouth and pulled her to the next room. The man seemed to hear it and turned to the door, " I heard a noise. You! go and see who's there." the man shouted pointing at the next man. He came out of the room looking for the noise. Meanwhile, they had entered a dark room which looked like a storage. They both hid behind a huge sofa which looked worn-out and dusty. When they heard footsteps, they both covered there mouth trying to not make any noise. The man entered looking around the room. After a while,He stepped closer to the sofa. They could see the shadow of his footsteps coming closer to the sofa. Rosé felt like her heart would jump out of her chest due to the wild thumping. He came closer.......and closer. When he was about to peek behind the sofa somebody called the man. " Yah!! come back here. Lets take the body outside." " Yes, sir." and by that he left the room. Both of them sighed a relief. They came outside after hearing no noise. Then they ran all the way to the hall, cold sweat running through their body.
End flashback
" YAH!! Jungkook. You listened to me??" Jimin said turning to him. " Uh whatt? sorry i spaced out." Jungkook replied startled. Jimin heaved a sigh. " I said who you bringing at the elite?"
" Ohh....i haven't thought about that though." he scratched his head, " what about you?"
" You'll know at the party." he smirked to himself.
" bro...why not now?" jungkook asked confused.
Jimin stayed silent. While Jungkook had forgotten about the party, he now was thinking who should he go with.
Later, jungkook was back at his home. A thought had crossed his mind but he was being hesitant. He kept looking at his contact screen. Rosé. He kept debating if he should ask her or not. Finally, he decided to message her.
To: Rosé Yo thickhead wanna come with me at the elite?
He took a deep breath. He started regretting right after he sent it. Aishh i shouldn't have sent it. He opened his phone to delete it but just then her reply came.
From: Rosé Im sorry i have somebody else No partner this year too?😉
Hahh this girl. he read her reply with disbelief. what do you mean this year too??tchh. Somehow her message had made him angry but a little hurt too.
