Olive's POV
God, she sounded like an angel. I'll never get sick of hearing her music and the fact that I'm on stage performing with her at COACHELLA is insane.
I thought I'd be too nervous and mess up at some parts of the songs but to my surprise, I didn't. Everything came so naturally and I felt at ease up on stage doing what I did best.
Billie's energy really was contagious because I felt the urge to follow her lead as she bounced around the stage like an animal. I couldn't help but smirk at her childish personality- she looked like she was having fun.
I continued to strum the notes to each song and occasionally Billie would look back at me to check I wasn't dying, in return I assured her I wasn't.
The last song came about too soon and before I knew it, I was coming up to my last few notes. Billie sung her last word and the backing track slowly dissipated along with the colourful lights. The stage lit up in the same bright white light as before and Billie beamed at her crowd of fans. Everyone screamed and cheered, I clapped my hands at Billie's performance and she looked back at me, smiling.
As well as her smile, I saw a mischievous look in her eye and I gulped while she looked back at the crowd of people ahead of her.
"Thank you Coachella for such a sick atmosphere and show, but before I leave, I'd like to introduce you all to someone," Billie boomed and then glanced back at me again, holding her hand out for me to take.
I knew what she was doing and I didn't like it one bit, so I just shook my head and shot her a look.
Billie laughed at my pissed off reaction but was persistent.
"Nuh uh, come on, you're up here so you might as well make the most of it," She chuckled as she made her way over to where I stood.Everyone's eyes were on me so I had no choice but to obey her. I grumbled but took her hand anyway and she led me over to centre stage.
"Fuck you," I whispered into her ear as she released my hand. She put a hand to her chest and lulled:
"Ah yes, whisper sweet nothingness in my ear."I raised my eyebrows and laughed at her cockiness.
"Anyway anyway, I didn't bring her up here to mess around," she stuck her tongue out at me, "she's here because earlier today she returned my bracelet," Billie explained while holding up her wrist for everyone to see.
In response, the crowd gasped and Billie nodded.
"Yeah, I know right? but not just that, she also offered to fill in for my old guitarist who bailed on me," Billie turned to me and smiled, "without her, this show wouldn't even be happening...so I think we all owe her a thank you," She rambled taking a breath before opening her mouth to speak again."So everyone say, thank you Ollie," She said in a childish tone.
Everyone and I mean, EVERYONE, turned to me and said thank you. I felt my face go bright red and Billie smirked at my reaction. Once everyone had quietened down, she held the mic to my mouth.
"Anything you want to say?," She asked wiggling her eyebrows.
Leaning into the mic I replied:
"No, not really, other than you're an asshole Billie," I grumbled, flipping her off.
