The Supernatural Love!

Chapter 3: The Night talks!

"Hey Hi!"

I turn around my head to look who was there;

"Hi Jeremy!" Followed by a smile

"I didn't expect to see you at this time.. umm.. Sorry what was your name again!?"

The fact that he didn't remember my name pissed me off and now I was nowhere interested to have any conversation with him. The smile which followed that 'Hi' had vanished and in a low tone I said, "Rhea"

"Write it down somewhere so the next time we meet, you atleast remember my name!" This line was also followed by a smile but you could see a caustic remark being passed by.

"Oh well I'm sorry first of all. I have a problem remembering the names but I definitely remember you. Rhea who loves nature, watches the squirrel's play and enjoys the fresh breeze. And also loves Doritos, Tortilla and Pringles alot!" He passed that statement looking into my cart where dozens of Doritos and other snacks lied.

"Yes I love these snacks" I tried to pacify myself from the embarrassment I started to feel by saying that.
"What are you doing here at this point of time?"

"I work here! Part time only 4 to 9"

"Wow! You do really have a hectic schedule."

"It's hectic and tiring at first but once you get used to it you will feel at home, in addition they will provide me with free snacks once every week so it's a nice deal I guess!"

The way he talked and said things was simply bewitching. One moment I was pissed off at him and now in this moment I was smiling again without any reason and apparently lost while he said something and tried to wake me up from my dreams by shaking me vigorously.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes. Yes, I'm fine. I just... Anyway I had done my shopping. It's already late so I think I should head back to my dorm."

"Ya common let me get this all billed up for you"

"No.. No it's fine! I'll do it myself"

"Ah! Don't worry It's just my share of helping you out for allowing me to have a seat with you on the first day of school in the recess."

I didn't say anything this time and just stood there smiling and looking at him carry my cart over to the billing counter and getting the bill done for me.

"It's $132.99"

I handed him the money and took my packets from him.

"Should I drop you home?"

"Umm.. I think I can go by myself and apart from that you do have your shift here right now so I think you should stay here" I said all of this but somewhere I wanted him to come over so that we could know each other more.

"It's already quarter to nine and I guess I could get an early 15 min leave for a pretty girl"

I didn't know how to react to his sudden appreciation. I could feel my cheeks turning red and in order to hide them I started to look down towards the floor.

"Let's go! I got the leave, give me the packets though"

I didn't said anything and handed him the packets while looking down and made my way towards the exit door.

The night was cold today, the fresh breeze transformed into chilly winds and the darkness in the street was frightening. The dogs continued to howl and the moon was covered by the clouds. The backdrops were perfectly set for the shoot of any horror movie and I loved that setting.
