Katie Sparks was really starring to get annoyed. She had sent a hung of amateurs after him, sent a bunch of professionals? Heck, she even sent their most experienced fighter. But they had all failed. They had failed to get the boy. And now they were going to pay.

Sighing, she leaned back into her chair. If no one could do the job, do it yourself, right? But, there was a problem. If she left, the company would but itself down. It needed her to survive, just as the world needed him to survive. So she had to find him. Or the world would suffer.

She pondered over her options. She could get someone to be in charge without telling them she was actually gone. Then she could send them her progress and they would lead for her, as though she was there. But then she would be distracted during the mission, and she needed to be in top shape for it. All others had already failed, she wasn't planning on joining them.

"Last minute resort." She muttered under her breath, then pulled out a phone and dialed a number on it.

The number didn't even call. Once it had reached the line, it disabled automatically. Having it on for just that millisecond had been to much. Her life was one at risk. But so was the Chief's, and that was what she had hoped for.

She pulled out her phone from her handbag and clicked a button. It dialed for a moment before the person picked up and alerted them they were there. Listening to their heavy breathing for a second, she concluded it was the person, then began to talk.

"Begin phase 2." She said into the receiver.

"Are you sure? She's a feisty one. They might die trying." He said.

"Do it. That's an order." She hissed, then hung up.

Katie leaned back into her chair. She didn't want to do it, to ruin the girl's childhood, but she didn't have a choice. Drastic times called for drastic measures.

And this was a drastic time.
