I'm standing in an ocean blue void. "The Forbidden Lake," I say. "Why am I here?" A woman is sitting in front of me. "I'm glad you asked." The woman's voice sounds suspiciously like Alex's. The woman starts singing. Her voice is sweet and soft. As the sound enters my ears, my body weakens. The woman turns toward me. Alex's face smiles at me. Her face is distorted. "You know, when you kissed Charlie, I had to act surprised, but I knew. Charlie likes you. THAT'LL CHANGE SOON." Alex's last words tie me to the ground. "You, a siren?" I ask, hardly able to speak. Alex nods. "Yup. I am one of them. Of the words of your father, Seto Alexander James Lucifer David Dreamurr II, 'A creature of manipulation and death'. And yet, your title, the famed 'Siren' of existence. Omnipotence so WHAT." Every one of Alex's words makes me weaker. "The universe this and the universe that. I was pretty mad when the royal family; oh wait, that's your father, AGAIN; named you a siren. Just because you can supposedly communicate with the universe doesn't mean you're a siren. I wonder, what's it telling you now? Is it pleading for you to do something, or is it insulting you for falling at the hands of a weakling? Tell me, please." Alex says. Tears roll out of my eyes, forced. "I..." I can barely pull a sound out of my throat. "What is it, Dreamurr? Are you lost for words?" Alex kneels down to me and touches my chin with her left index finger. "Don't worry, your suffering will be over, and maybe my kind will be freed. Dreamurr, watch out, I'm coming." Alex's eyes turn black and she winks. "Ngh..." My throat constricts as I feel my lips pucker. Alex does the same and pushes her face to towards mine. I involuntarily kiss Alex. I faint.
