Daddy!?

As she was walking to her Nan's, people where staring, some where laughing and others where muttering to one another. when ever she walk to her Nan's she would always go in to the little park on the field and have a swing, but today she didn't feel the need to. when she walked past she glanced at the swings to see them moving with the wind. But today she sour something different, there was a little girl in the park sitting bye the slide crying. She looked no older then 5. She couldn't leave her there crying so she wondered in the park, crouched down and asked her what her name was. At first she didn't say anything, so Sophie convinced her that if she spoke to her then she could have the sweets Sophie had in her pocket. After she said that the little girl looked up at Sophie and said "hello my name is Caitlyn, I'm 6 years old and I live in the orphanage down the road". Sophie asked her what she was doing out hear all alone and why she had a hand print on her face. she then told Sophie that "today was the day that use girls could get adopted, but I was told by the mean girl that I would never get adopted". Sophie told her to take no notice of the girl and so Sophie walked Caitlyn back to the orphanage, while they where walking back Sophie realised that there where more worst thing going on in other peoples life's, then hers, at least she had a mum who USED to be loving, and how poor Caitlyn had no one. They got to the door and Caitlyn said "thank you, goodbye" and Sophie said "not good bye, good night because good bye means forever".
