Bo’s P.O.V

I jogged down the stairs of my apartment and hopped into my car, I was already late.

I pulled up out the front of the alley, I grabbed the one of the duffel bags from the boot and threw it over my shoulder, I flicked up my hood and walked on, I stopped when I seen his shadow I stopped, I could not see his face; I never have.

“have you got the stuff?”

“have you got my money?” I heard the bag the smack down in front of him, I threw my bag off of my shoulder

“nice doing business with you” he smirked and walked past me, this happened a few more times today; illegal and loaded.

After a long day I took off my jacket and my bed, my key and wallet on the kitchen bench; todays earnings went to the closet, the bag from last week was open; last time I checked that the bag was closed. I checked my other equipment, my gun, moved.

My phone rang; boss.

“did everything go well with the deals today?” she spoke

“smoothly”

“good good, I have another job for you; it’s a big one”

“fire away”

“it involved you and a partner, preferably female”

“hmm, go on”

“it involves you two going undercover as a couple, a big drug cartel is trying to take over our business, I need you two to find out what is going on and how it will happen, I can get you whatever you need but I need you to find a female partner, can you do that?”

“I can try, is that all?”

“that’s it, call me when you find someone, you don’t have long” and with that she hung up,

Genevieve.

Would she do it? No, I couldn’t tell her about what I do, she wouldn’t be safe.

I couldn’t do that to her
