A/N: yooooo people! Welcome to my random, completely unorganized and usually unedited one shot rambling COMPLETE barf-pages. I can't imagine or even begins to describe what you'll find inside, so... hopefully I will make you laugh and maybe even make you think. Anyways, this first one is KOTLC and it's gonna be a random scene I think should happen in legacy.
By the way, it's going to be COMPLETELY bogus, weird stuff that's probably hilarious and also probably worthy of every cringe imaginable.
Alright! Put on your hard hats, people!
Time to make a complete fool of myself!~~~~~
Sophie blushed for what felt like the eightieth time that day.
"Shut up," she ordered, putting away the drawing she had so foolishly chosen to show her friends.
Linh gave her a reassuring, but pained smile, and shuffled her feet awkwardly.
Fitz, who looked like he was trying to swallow a cantaloupe whole, choked, "it's good!"
And then there was Tam, who was pinching his lips so tightly they probably wouldn't open again.
And Biana, who was giving her an "isn't that ADORABLE?" Look.
And DEX was snickering, trying his best to cover his mouth with his hands.
Keefe didn't even try to hide it. He was laughing his head off, clutching the locker nearby and wiping tears from his eyes.
"It's not THAT bad," Sophie defended, looking sadly at her drawing.
"No, it's not! It's really good." Fitz offered, giving her his award-winning smile, no matter how forced and constipated he looked.
"I think you should probably burn it before anyone else can see," Tam suggested.
"But then what will I use for a cover illustration?" Sophie asked. Sophie had barely passed enough of her exams during her fight with the Neveseen that her teachers collectively decided she should write a short story-doing absolutely everything it took.
The writing part was fine, and the about the Author was a piece of cake, but the cover illustration............
she'd tried.
"Remind me.... not that I don't....... KNOW, but............ for Keefe." Dex coughed, biting his lip.
Sophie sighed.
"It's supposed to be a little girl," Sophie explained.
"You sure it's not a HIPPO?" Keefe guffawed, eyes sparkling.
Sophie groaned.
"It's not THAT bad!" She exclaimed, rubbing a hand through her hair.
"It's BLUE." He disagreed.
"I wanted to show EMOTION!" Sophie leaned against the locker.
"Which emotion?" He choked through laughing fits.
"Sadness! The girl DIES!!" Sophie screamed, desperation filling her voice.
"Oh! That's why." Fitz added, smiling.
Sophie groaned.
"Unbelievable." She stormed, taking out the picture. "It's not that bad!"
Keefe was sorta right. It did look like a blue hippo. But a cute one, she tried to reassure herself.
"Why is its eye RED?" Keefe demanded.
"To show the anger beneath the sorrow," Sophie whispered quietly.
Keefe fell to the floor with laughter.
"UGH. it's terrible. I admit it." Sophie agreed, shoving it back in her bag.
"No, it's not!" Fitz tried, giving her a helplessly adorable, apologetic look.
Sophie sighed.
"Don't lie to me, you're my cognate." She ordered.
He shook his head.
"I'm not lying! It's got... character!" He defended, raising his hands above his head in surrender.
"Whatever. I can tell you're lying." She told him, giving him a look.
Keefe smirked.
"I guess that solves the love triangle then. Who can you trust to be honest?" He claimed.
Sophie's face burned with the heat of a thousand fires.
"Keefe, shut up." She demanded. "And there is NO love triangle.""the worst part is that you lie to yourself about it," Keefe said, a little too bitterly.
Sophie began to wonder if she was an empath and didnt know it when she saw past his smile. maybe it was the way the corner of his lips pinched a little too tightly, or the way his eyes squinted, as if seeing right through her, or maybe-
"Like what you see, Foster?" Keefe, who was grinning, asked.
Sophie's cheeks flared.
Fitz tensed beside her, an arm going around her shoulders, only adding to the heat in her already aflame face.
