chapter 3: new class

Max's POV:

When Tony and Claire when it's in the empty classroom to talk I got a a call from my mum so obviously I picked it up "hey mum what's up" "don't what's up me young man, you can't just walk out of the house like that what if you got lost, what if you kill, what if..."I start my mum in the middle of her sentence "mum I'm fine I am at school now" "what how did you get to school you don't even know the way there" "mum I made a friend and he helped me find the school now he's just going to help me get my schedule"explain the events that happened between me and Tony "fine I guess you are good at making friends on the first day" mum said with a sigh "ok then when you get home you me and your father are going to have a talk about this morning" "mum for the last time he is not my Dad he's just a step" I said an anger "honey when are you going to accept that David is your new father" I can feel my anger about to blow "mum can we not talk about this right now I don't want to talk about it at school ok" "fine but we are going to talk about it" my mum said I can hear the worry in her voice " no mum I want to talk about it at all" just as mum was about to start her sentence I hang up on her. I always feel bad of a hang up on her but I just couldn't handle that conversation.

Just as I was about to put my phone away Tony came out of the room he looks kind of upset. I guess he saw my upset face as well because he asked "hey you ok what's with the face" oh know what do I say quick think fast "oh um people just keep staring at me it's annoying" nice save "OK what's go and get your schedule" cool it worked but I feel like there's something missing "hey where is clay I thought he was coming with us" I said a remembrance "oh he went back to class" weird "ok let's go hopefully we have the same class" I said walking ahead of him with a smile on my face I think I'm going to like this school year hopefully.
