CHAPTER 14

RIYA PROV

I got up as usual but today everything was completely different. I was going to start a fresh with Kabir. I was going to be his wife not because we took vows in front of the society or law, but because he believed in this relationship now. I had a bright smile on my face. I turned towards him and I was in shock. He was all awake and looking at me. I blushed and turned the other side. He said.

Kabir: For the first time in these days, I have seen you smiling. Always smile like this, you look beautiful. (He woke up from his side of bed and sat very close to me. My heart rate was increasing. I could feel goosebumps all over my body. He put his hands around my waist and pulled me closer to him. He took my hand in his and gave a small kiss on it and said softly near my ears) Good Morning Riya.

I was so shy that I could not take it anymore and ran inside the bathroom for my daily routine. I went in and shut the door without turning and looking into his eyes. I was breathing heavy. I touched my hands slowly and I could feel his lips on it. I took that hand closed to my chest and stood like for a while. I went near the wash basin to brush my teeth, when Kabir came inside the bathroom. I was shocked. I thought "how did he???" Then it stuck me, I didn't lock the door from inside.

KABIR PROV

I kissed her palms and wished her good morning. She blushed and she ran away inside washroom. How cute she is??? I went near the washroom and pushed the door a bit, it was open. I immediately went in and locked the door. I could see how shocked she was. She didn't expect this move. She turned immediately towards me and asked.

Riya: Do you want something????

Me: Yes, I kissed you and wished you good morning but instead of wishing me, you ran away. I want my good morning kiss now. (I saw the shock on her face and she hung her head without meeting my eyes. I walked towards her slowly and stood very close to her. She was shivering, I couldn't understand was it out of fear or was it out of being shy. I caught her slowly by her shoulders and asked) Are you okay Riya???

Riya: Hmm

Me: Riya if you are not comfortable it ok. Don't do anything which makes you uncomfortable (And I turned around to go. I was not hurt or sad. I really understand that all these feelings are new for her. I was about to open the door when I could feel Riya was holding my hand. I turned and saw which made me feel bad, she had tears flowing down her eyes. She said).

Riya: I am sorry.

Me: Oh Riya (And I hugged her tightly. She hugged me back with little hesitation. I stood there while I was rubbing her back to sooth her. After a while, she broke her hug and hung her not wanting to show her face. I said) Riya I know these feelings are new for you. Its ok I won't force to do anything. I was just trying to pull your leg. I am sorry for that.

Riya: No... no... Don't say sorry.

Me: Then you also won't say sorry for small reasons

Riya: Okay (I took hands in mine and said)

Me: I want to know you Riya. I want you too also know about me. I want us to get comfortable with each other, spend more time. Be friends, partners and companions for life. (She shook her head cutely in a yes.) Let's sleep for a while, it's not even 5 in morning.

Riya: No..... No I am fine.

Me: Riyaaa..... Come with me. We will get up by 6. (She nodded her head and I took her inside our room. How beautiful this sounds???? Our room.)

Again we went to sleep and woke up by 6:30. I went to gym and she got ready for the day. I always notice that she never wears those sarees which Bhabhi and Naaz bought for her. I will do something about it later, but for now I have to focus on how she will share her memories with me about her life????

RIYA PROV

I came down and saw Bhabhi sit on sofa and having tea all alone. I went near her and said.

Me: Good Morning Bhabhi.

Bhabhi: Good morning Riya. Today you woke up late???? Is everything alright??? (I had a surprised look on my face. I said in a haste)

Me: Yes Bhabhi, I am fine and everything is fine. I just felt a bit lazy.

Bhabhi: Oh good, you should sleep a bit more Riya. It's good to have some extra sleep. You know that Mrs....... (And yet again her gossip started. You know she is never tired of doing gossip. She gets all the information and then she will tell me everything. Sometimes I don't remember what she said to me, but I don't like spoiling her mood so I listen to her.)

After a while, everyone came down for breakfast and Kabir was looking more handsome today. He was wearing a baby pink 3 piece suit and it looks very good on him. He sat next to me and we had our breakfast. Bhabhi was staring us with a strange look on her face. After breakfast, Papa and Kabir went to office. Before leaving Kabir took my hands in his and said.

Kabir: I will be back early today. I will take you somewhere today. Be ready (And kissed my cheeks and left for office.)

I waved my hands to him and turned to go inside, when I saw Bhabhi was standing with Ammi and had a smiling face as if they knew something has happened and they have caught me red handed. I didn't dare to look at them. Suddenly Bhabhi said.

Bhabhi: I told you naa Ammi, something is different today between them??? The way he was smiling at her on the breakfast table was enough for my doubt and now this scene has made everything clear. (Ammi and Bhabhi were laughing and I was entirely red. I could not take it anymore and ran inside without looking at them.)

KABIR PROV

I reached office and today I was happy because today I have started a new with Riya and I will always make it special for her every day. I went to my office and called Rashid. He came to my cabin in matter of seconds.

Me: Any Update on Piya and Sharma Family????

Rashid: Update on Piya – No, Update on Sharma Family – Yes.

Me: What's the update???

Rashid: They are visiting a lot of banks on Saturday and Sunday.

Me: Bank???? That too on Saturday and Sunday????

Rashid: Yaa, Bhaldev Sharma is using his personal contacts and arranging meeting at bank offs. He is trying to get investors for Sheetal Sharma's Boutique. There is also a news that their business very bad and also the boutique is mortgaged with the bank.

Me: This a news. A very big news. Thanks Rashid. Keep me updated and Good Job.

Rashid: Thanks Boss. (He left my cabin)

I need to speak to Dad about this. I went to his cabin. I knocked on it and he asked me to come in. He was on a call and indicated me to wait for 2 mins. After his call ended I told him everything. He said

Dad: That's a big catch. Rashid did a great job. Did Rashid say which Bank????

Me: Yes NMAF Bank.

Dad: Great, Mr. Maheshwari has his contacts there. I will get some inside information. Give me somedays.

Me: Ok Dad. (I was about to leave his cabin when he said)

Dad: I saw today Riya was quite cheerful on the breakfast table. I could sense something good happened. I don't want to know what but yes I am very happy for both of you. (I turned and smile towards him and left his Cabin)
