TV broadcast: Youtube is becoming the new news for teenagers around the world. Channels like Thatchejoe, MarcusButlerTv, O2L, Zoella and Pewdiepie are gaining subscribers by the dozen everyday.
"Guys, guys, we're on TV, like we're on the actual news here." Trevor's voice came from the living room. It's a Saturday so him and Sam are here. I mean it's nice but Trevor's loud and Sam's well Sam what else can I say?
We all run into to the room to see Trevor on the sofa eating a poptart and pointing at the TV. I look around and see mouths opening. He's right we are on the actual news. This is good very good. This means new subscribers. Since The Connor Franta left we have lost a few precious subscribers: they all mean so much to us and watching them leave because Connor left is kind of hurtful. I mean they were subscribed to Our Second Life for Connor not all of us. I like Connor and all but he was one of the main reasons why O2L was so popular. I mean Sam doesn't even have a real channel by himself. To be honest I think it only has two videos.
As Trevor finished his poptart the news stopped broadcasting our YouTube and Twitter names. Well I am just over 1.5 million followers on Twitter so more wouldn't hurt.
I glance at my phone and see that Sam , Trevor, Ricky and Jc have all tweeted about this. I favourite their tweets and begin composing my own.
Well, O2L WERE ON THE FREAKING NEWS Everybody! #O2Listhenews
I tweeted this and noticed that the hashtag was trending worldwide. The power of the internet.
It's Ricky that breaks the comfortable silence "I think we need food. Panera anyone?“
We all groan. This was Ricky's favourite food place and if he suggests it we have to go. And it is his turn to choose.
"Go pick it up yourself if you want it because I am a lazy arse. You already know what we want." Sam replies in that beautiful voice of his. I mean everything about Sam is beautiful from his bright red cheeks caused be his diabeties to his toned body. Who wouldn't like such a perfect boy. And do you know what? It's fine that he doesn't like me back because I want him happy. But I live in hope because sometimes your wishes do come true.
