I kneeled down to pick up the shards of glass that were spread across the carpet in heaps of blue and green. I mean, you can't exactly sweep carpet.

I pushed my bright blond hair to my shoulder so it won't get in my face.

My blue eyes scanned the living room and everybody in it.

Some of them sitting on the couch and watching T.V. Or flirting with their mates or the ones that were wasting their time hanging out with someone who wasn't there's and would never be.

I hated that, why would they do that? Why would they try to fall for someone else completely knowing that their significant other was out their? Your mate won't be proud of you for doing that, they may even be cross!

I would, except really, I don't have any freedom, I'm the lowest class there probably ever was.

No, I'm not originally from this pack. You see, my pack was... Never mind it doesn't matter. What matters is that I have to get back to my chores because I still have a long list to do.

I was drained.

The reason for this was because the soon-to-be alpha was having his birthday tomorrow and since everyone else was too good to clean and stuff, I had to do it. I was busy cleaning the kitchen when someone dropped a glass cup in the living room hence why I'm in here now.

I got back to cleaning the kitchen and then the 9 bathrooms and then the huge dining room.

By the time I was done with that I had an ache in my back and my hands were red from the overuse.

When I walked through the numerous hallways I passed by the soon-to-be alpha who shoved me to the side and kept walking.

You see, it's illegal for any wolf to harm any wolf in their pack, even if it's a low class omega, those rules can only be changed by the alpha himself and I'm willing to bet that tomorrow the first rule Dale will change is that alphas can hurt whoever they want.

I don't ever remember doing anything wrong to him he just naturally hates me I guess.

No, I don't go to school, since I am unequal to those who have given me refuge I must not be shown to the whole pack, only those in the teenage pack house and the alpha and few others know I'm here.

I walked to my medium sized room and got into my small bed. Even though I'm not treated with the same respect doesn't mean life here sucks, the only thing I hate about The pack is the chores and the soon-to-be alpha.

I nestled into my bed with the the last thought in my mind "Who's gonna have the unluckiest job of having Dale as a mate?"
