A spectre of light clouds my vision, slowly the light grows as all my senses begin to formulate. The gentle scent of lavender overwhelms my nose as it dances violently in the air. The air that softly caresses my skin and gently pulls me down to the green grass that is blowing ever so gracefully in the gusts of wind. The wind is not cold at all, I feel the heat from The Sun blessing the streams of air allowing me to feel safe and warm. As my toes touch the ground I feel a shiver run up my spine feeling the cold fresh dew from the grass make contact with my skin. Here in this field of colours that seem to dance with the tune of the wind I sit. While sitting I allow the winds to dance through the hairs on my head, and through each of the fingers on my hand which I study in the light of The Sun. Surveying the lands a dancing reflection of light catches my eyes. Curiosity takes the best of me as I attempt to inch towards this new spectacle. In a short amount of time of scooting, I'm out of breath.

When the mystical sight is near a large beast approaches me, wings spread out which only increases the appearance of this thing. It eyes me carefully before bowing its head. In a confusion, I bow back to this creature that seems to glow. The light just seems to radiate from each little part of its feathery body. The animal brings its head forward and lightly tugs on my robe with its beak urging me to stand. I do awkwardly with feet all crossed, at this, it nudges my head up so I can watch it. It then proceeds to do a funny dance, I soon begin to notice that the creature is covering more ground then I was with scooting. I then decide to try out the dance myself, getting the hang of it promptly. I confidently put one leg in front of the other alternating as the beast before me had done. The movement carries me to the glistening surface of this strange substance.

One step further and I fall through the glassy surface. Feeling myself slipping, I close my eyes and brace for the impact that never comes. I open my eyes and see that the creature has prevented my downfall. It then pulls me back and away from where the light dances across the disturbed surface. I stare into the eyes of this majestic creature and notice a certain glint in its eyes that suggests a more protective, gentle, and loyal nature. A colour warm and familiar paints its golden eyes that seem to watch over me with such care. The tint of gold I hold so dear as it reminds me of my mother star in the sky. I regain my balance and watch as the animal dances away looking back at me every now and then asking me to follow. I happily oblige and follow suit behind it as it takes me away from the flowing substance.

It takes me all the way to a place I remember being called a city. In this "city" there are many humans going about their day. A tiny baby human spots the creature and points at it while tugging on her mother's leg and then exclaims "look, mommy, a crane!" the mother simply turns to her and then looks to the direction in which she is pointing and replies "Oh no, it must've flown away" the mother continues on her way with the tiny human trudging behind. I then look at the creature and whisper what the child had said "Crane?". Just as I did the crane looks at me and nods, confirming its name. I proceed to point at myself "Arcturus" at this the crane studies me up and down and finally nods.

I feel a strange feeling that leaves my whole being heavy and tired. Peering down upon myself I notice the light that once hugged my skin is fading, leaving only a tanned sunkissed body in its wake. Gone was the body of light I once was, and now the crane too is leaving me behind, after him is the rest of my visible world. The tiredness overwhelms my aching form and a darkness closes in leaving a nothing but numbness and endless possibilities. I am no longer my own person, but one left to the fates and a wakeless sleep engulfs me.
