A small smile crept into her lips as she watch her children play in the gardens. She never thought that one day she would live a normal life with a family she calls her own. All the heartaches and strugges she endured for centuries before were all worth it to have an ending like this. Sometimes it feels like a dream and that one day she will wake up to the nightmare she once were.

"A penny for your thoughts, my love?" Her smile widens even more as she felt his strong arms on her waist pulling her closer to him. She never felt so alive whenever she is with him. All the negative thoughts are washed away by his never ending love and care for her. She is beyond grateful to the man who she calls her husband for years now.

"I'm just happy. Looking at our children playing like nothing happened in the past makes my heart flutter in happiness." She replied leaning her body against his. He pulls her closer to her like his life depends on her and whispering sweet things to her ear every second. She knew something is wrong. She knew that he is hiding something from her.

"Is there something you would like to say to me? Something is bothering you. I can feel it. I am your wife and I know you." She heard him exhale and in that moment she knew that this is something big.

"They are back. They wanted revenge for what happened back in London." Her once happy thoughts were crushed at the statements her husband said. For years, she never thought that this would haunt them back. Now, she has more to lose. Her eyes instantly look at her children. The smiles they have will not last for long. That thought alone scares her.

"We haven't been there for years. What do they want? There is nothing we could offer to them. We did what we did to save what they took." She said turnibg around to look at her husband. His eyes are full of sadness and fear. The fear he feels is not for him but to the children they have.

"Our children. They are unique like Hope. They possess powers that their coven need. That is why you need to go to Mystic Falls." His hand carress her cheeks as she lean against it. She kissed him passionately and lean her forehead to his.

"I love you and I will take care of our children. Please be safe, my love." He kissed her forehead and hug her tightly.

"Always remember the love I have for you is never ending. You are my love, my life and my reason for existence. Take care my love. Tell the children that I love them. You and our children are my whole heart. I love you." She felt empty when he left. The wind that blows cannot take away the pain of missing him. She never knew that was the last time she would hear him say those words to her. The last she felt his love.
