As I take off my shoes I hear hushed whispers from the living room, I walk in quietly and find Mum sobbing into Dad's chest

Dad: "Shhhh Y/N everything is fine..."
Mum cries harder
Mum: "Everything is NOT fine!"
Dad: "Shhh darling relax, don't wake up Eunie"
Mum: "Your father has been called back again"
Dad: "I don't want to either but it's my job and I need the money for your mother's surgery again"
