It was Valentine's day and I went to school early like what I do everyday. We decorated our classroom for our surprise to our teacher. We were all excited for todays surprise. We surrounded the room with red balloons and crepe paper. Wrote a message on the board. Covered the doors with stripped crepe paper. Hang pictures from the ceiling.
The surprise went well and we were all touched by how our teacher thanked us. But the thrill in this day doesn't end. We were all outside and waiting for boys to give their gifts to oen of our classmates and the first one is Carl. Carl is from the other section and he went to our room to call Sandra and give her his gift.
"One down, hmm how many more to go?" said by Mae. After that Maenard, the classmate of Carl also gave his gift to Erika, a friend of Sandra.
Inside the room while I was sitting on Sean's place, he came to me and said" Hey, what if I give something to Sandra?" I was in total shock because I didn't expect him to tell that to me.
" Seryoso kaba? Sakin mo sasabihin yan?Tanga ka ba? G*g* ka pala eh crush kita tas sasabihin mo sakin yan?Na may ibibigay ka kay Sandra?Alam mo ba gano kasakit sakin kapag nagkkwento ka tungkol sa crush mo?Sobrang sakit kasi gusto ko ako nalang yung babaeng yun eh!Sana ako nalangg..." this is what I'm supposed to say but all I cannot because he know nothing about what I really feel. All I have to say is"Uhmm... really?...what would you give?"
Five of our classmates were given until before lunch. It was funny that I didn't ate lunch just to look if my classmates would be receiving more gifts. And here comes Marc, a student from grade 11, he has a crush on Sandra since last year but they treat each other as siblings. He had the msot special gift among others, he even sang a song to her while playing guitar. For me, that was the sweetest a man can do for a girl, sing her a song with a guitar.
Everytime there was a man giving gift I'm always there to look and see what's happening until...It's time for Sean to give his gift to her crush. To be honest even though I know that she likes Sandra, I'm still expecting a gift from, even just a friendly gift. During this time I'm with Joshua and Serine. I know that there is something happening outside the room(Sean giving his gift). I'm hesitant to go out and check because I know that I cannot handle my feelings and I might cry because I will be hurted seeing my Bestfriend, no, enemy! falling for someone else and not me. But for them not to think that, I went outside and act like I know nothing.
"Hey!! Arci, what's happening there?" In saying this I'm already teary eyed
"Awww, it's okay. Wag mo nang tignan masasaktan ka lang. Oh wag kang iiyak ha!" she said to me and hugged me
"Heh!nagyawn lang ako. Awww ang sweet sunflower."said with a fake smile
"Sige! okay lang yan. Kunware nalang masaya ka sakanya!" omyghaddd all that she's saying is truee!! Then, I went back to Joshua and Serine
"Sino yun?"Joshua asked
"Si Sean binigyan ng Sunflower si Sandra"
"Ay!Akala ko pa naman ikaw bibigyan niya!Sabi ko na nga ba eh paasa yan" I haven't mentioned that Joshua keeps on reminding me not to be attached to Sean kasi nga daw paasa siya.
"Matapos mo siyang ipaglocker, maging utusan niya, itago yung test papers niya tapos hindi naman pala ikaw yung crush niya, ang sakit nun bes!" I was hitted by what Serine said
"Sino bang may sabi na crush niyako?Actually yaya niya lang talaga ako HAHAHAHA" I just laughed and pretended I'm not hurted
"Sige itawa nalang natin yan! HAHAHA" said by Serine
"Pero realtalk, akala ko talaga kayo ni Sean" said by Joshua and I hope too na kami nga pero hindi eh
