miyeon refuses to be apart from jungkook as she clings to him for the rest of the night, and she ended up falling asleep in her father's arms.
"thank you, joohyun noona, thank you so much." jungkook politely bows towards the elder woman as he returns miyeon into her arms.
joohyun could only watch the younger guy with helpless eyes, as a huge sense of guilt starts to build up inside her. she turns to taehyung, handing the sleeping miyeon into his arms, before sending him a glance.
after being with joohyun for so long, it was easy to figure out what's going on inside her mind. "i'll wait for you in the car."
"jungkook..."
jungkook wasn't used to see so much warmth pouring out from the elder woman's eyes. joohyun used to look at him with the highest form of hatred, so this is absolutely new for him.
"i'm sorry..." joohyun speaks softly, as she looks down. "i was selfish... i should've helped you instead of pushing you away..."
"it's alright, noona." jungkook's voice sounded so warm that joohyun feels like crying. the guilty feeling is already killing her at this rate. "what you did was completely understandable. i did hurt yeri, after all..."

"you know, i used to hate you so much... i hate the fact that you even have the guts to show your face after destroying my sister's life...

joohyun takes her phone out before typing something, and a few moments later, jungkook could hear his phone vibrating.
"i've texted you her contact details and home address. she have been living in san fransisco ever since she left..."
jungkook abruptly grabs his phone from his pocket before opening the recently sent message. he could feel a sense of adrenaline rushing inside him.
he spent the past six years trying his best to search for her, but not a single trace of her was found.
it was as if she was never there... as if she was just a sweet, sweet dream.
"thank you..." jungkook suddenly feels overwhelm with the thought of being able to see her pretty, cute face again. he chokes up, before snorting in embarassment, trying his best not to end up crying again in front of joohyun.

staring at the younger man in front of her, joohyun could see how he have matured so, so much. "i know you won't..." joohyun genuinely smiles, startling jungkook a little.
