As soon as I get on the bus I find my bestfriend Katy.
She's always saving me a spot.
"Hey." Katy says.
"What's up?" I ask.
"Oh nothing really besides listening to Smelly Jo sing." she laughs and I join her. Katy and I have been bestfriends since we were little. Katy is tall with hazel eyes. She has long light brown hair. She likes to wear girly stuff just like me.
"I need to get a job." I tell my best friend. "Why?" She asks. "Well because my family isn't very good on money right now so I need to help them out with the bills." I sigh. "Plus if I want an amazing quinceñera I need to earn money." I tell her. "Okay if you want to I know some rich houses up in the hills, so we could go ask if they need help." "You know since they can't do anything." My best friend says. "That would be so cool! And as soon as I find a job I will set you free." I say with a smile. "It's settled then. After school right?" She asks. "Duh." I answer sarcastically.
The bus drive is only 10 minutes from my house to school. We get there soon and get off the bus.
"Hey there's your crush Alex." She elbows me.
"Shut up!" I blush
Alex is a sophomore too. He's been my crush since middle school. He's cute, tall, black haired. His hair is like Zayn Malik's. Incredibly hot. He's on the soccer team. But he's incredibly too hot. Way too hot.
"Selena!" Katy snaps me out of my crush thoughts.
"What?!" I ask her.
"You're blocking people from getting to their locker." She says.
"Woops!" I say.
"I know you were thinking about Alex." She says with a disgusted face.
"Shut up! We are gonna be late for our first period." I tell her so she could shut up.
"Someone's sassy." She tells me.
I completely ignore her though. When we get into our class, we have a substitute.
"Great." I say.
I really don't like substitutes. They don't know much and they're not fun sometimes. My first period class teacher is the funniest. I have drama for this period that's why.
"Selena Gomez!" The substitute yells my name.
"Yes?" I say shyly.
"Are you here?"
"Of course. Unless my ghost has taken over." I say out loud.
Everyone laughs. I'm kind of funny and shy. But when it comes to a boy I like, I'm shy.
My second period class is photography class. I love photography. It's my favorite thing to do. I take selfies with so many people. I also take people pictures for special events and they like it pretty much.
My third period class is chemistry. It's boring but Alex is in that class with me.
He makes it fun and I don't know how.
My fourth period class is algebra. I hate it.
My fifth and sixth class are the classes I hate. But after school I have volleyball and swimming class. My favorite sports.
School ended pretty soon.
"Selena!" Katy says running up to me.
"Yes?" I ask her.
"Are we still going to go look for houses where you could work at?" She says breathing heavily.
"Yes of course! I really want a quinceñera and its next year! I have to have everything planned. But first I would need the money."
