It was the summer when I was arriving into a new town. I wasn't even expecting the moving. One day my dad just came in my room and said "pack your things we are moving." Leaving me with a shocking face. Well that was two weeks ago now I was just seeing my new neighbors on their porch.
Another stupid move by my dad... I thought. We moved sixteen times all year and yet they wonder why I have no friends. My mom always said I make friends easy which was true until I started cutting myself and dyed my hair dark blue. Now people were just afraid to even say 'hello' to me. Well it didn't matter since I moved a lot and didn't even stay long enough in one town. When we arrived to our "new home" all i could think was 'this will be the worst summer ever'.
"Mizzy come out to help with the bags", called out my dad from the trunk. I opened the car door and got out to help him. It was just me and him. No one else. My mom had abandoned me when I was 8, but still checked on me on how my dad and I was doing. She had taking my older brother with her like it was big deal. I missed him even if i didn't always talk to him. He is one year older than me and yet don't even to bother calling me his sister I don't even know why i worry about him when my mom and him don't worry about me. I got my book bag out and followed dad up the house steps.
"Welcome to our new home", he said opening up the door and walking in. I didn't walk in right away I stood there admiring the house. It was sort of dark inside but that didn't matter. I walked around and explore the "new home". To begin with the stairs were creaky and the kitchen smelled rotten like someone had been killed here.
"Dad! The kitchen stinks like hell!" I yelled out
" Mizzy language", he said coming to the kitchen " you're right it does stinks i will have to call the owner and see what's up with that" he walked out holding his shirt sleeve to his nose.
"Great now what am i going to eat?" I said to myself. I went upstairs to check out my new room. It was decent even it had spider webs in the corners of the walls. 'This house is really old' I thought. I looked out my window and saw my backward towards the woods. That's right I lived right by the woods. This house was at the very end of the street. And that's very creepy but I'm used to creepiness.
