Chapter 5 : The misunderstanding

The gardener came closer and then he got attacked by the three friends

"Where did you hide Max? , tell me now!" Said Ruby

"Who is Max?, the only person I know called Max is  my nephew " said Mr Hart

"Don't act as if you didn't kidnap him " said Phoebe

"I didn't, I swear and wait who is Max anyway" said Mr Hart

"My brother who got kidnapped " said Ruby

"Sorry, but I don't even know him " said Mr Hart

"Then what were you doing with this can  of pepper spray? "Said Linda

"This is not pepper spray this is perfume, I found it in the back yard so I wanted to bring it inside. To be honest I tried it and it smells so good " said Mr Hart.

"Oh, sorry we really messed up this time "said Phoebe.
Then Ruby picked up the can of peeper spray and she looked at it and found out that it was really perfume.

"Thanks for the perfume and sorry for the misunderstanding "said Ruby

"Yeah, we are so sorry " chorused Linda and Phoebe. Then he picked up his hat and he left for the back yard. They felt so sorry for what the did so  as an apology they baked him a pie and he left the house. Moments later  Andy, Emma and the boys came over to see Ruby and talk about what happened in the old hospital.

"How do you think he knew about the spy cams? " said Joel

"I have no idea "said Bryan

"I know what the problem is "said Byron

"What is it? "Said Emma

"The problem is that this meeting has no chips and dip " said Byron

"Oh my god, Byron stop thinking about food and focus on the real case, infact let us not give him any thing to eat " said Andy

"Let him eat, hey Byron the are some chips in the kitchen "said Ruby

"OK, thanks "said Byron as he rushes to the kitchen. "OK, back to our discussion " said Linda

"You are right Linda, so where were we.... OK how do you think he even knew about the spy cam?" said Ruby

"No clue, but I think that...... " Phoebe was interrupted by the door bell.

"I will get the the door "said Ruby. She opens the door and she saw Ricky, Cole and Sam. As Ricky was about to say a word she slammed the door at his face.

"Open up,  i wanna talk to Linda now!! "Said Ricky

"Linda go and meet your stupid brother " said Andy

"Hey I am not stupid "said Ricky.

"You are  stupid "said Andy

"I  not stupid " said Ricky. They argued for a while until Ricky got tired and left with Cole and Sam. Byron get a call on the phone and it is from the kidnapper.

"Hello is this Byron's phone "said the kidnapper

"Yes and what do you want? "Said Byron.

"I am getting tired of holding this idiot you call Max , bring the money or else " said the killer as he hangs up. Then Joel went out to make a call.

"That boy looks so suspicious " said Phoebe

"Come on, everyone looks suspicious to you "said Linda

"No, this guy looks like he is hiding something " said Phoebe.
