(I'm going to seriously regret this, but oh well. This story was chosen at random by my friend Vanten. Choose a number 1-55 to pick one of my stories. Please don't kill me/make fun of me...Oh please just kill me already...)
“Can’t you just leave her alone?! She has enough problems!” my only friend Colby shouts at some kids making fun of me. I hide behind Colby, not wanting to face them again. The mean kids walk away and Colby hugs me. “You okay?” He whispers in my ear. I nod. He lets go and walks to his house, smiling at me the whole way back. I start to walk to my empty house where I live alone most of the time. My parents work jobs that make them work 24/7. I rarely see them and have learned to live without them. I sit in my room at the fairly new desk holding my computer, keyboard, and mouse. I log on and look at my YouTube account. Several comments want me to sing for myself instead of editing various songs, putting them together to post. I reply to some of them saying, “I can’t sing very well.” That was my routine lie, but it was still true, in a way. Scrolling down, I see a hater comment. “You do know if you don’t like me, you can just leave and never come back. I think we would appreciate that. Can you do these 7 days a week? I don’t think so.” I type as a comment in response to the hater. I check all my other important online sites like Google+, Wattpad, G-mail, etc. Something catches my eye on G-mail right before I close it. It’s an E-mail from YouTube about a comment. I click it and read. “SkydoesMinecraft commented on your video! ‘This is really cool. Do you want to record or something?’” I smile. I read the question again. I can’t record with him, but it’s worth a shot. I send a reply saying, “PM me, and we’ll talk about it :D” I decide to leave G-mail up, just in case he replies. Playing on Minecraft, I think about what BIG mistake I had just made. I shouldn’t have even replied with a maybe. I should have said no. I’m running around on Sky’s Server, unaware that he’s on, even with the raging chat spamming, “OMG SKY!!” I finally notice he’s on and send him a private message. “Sky, its MuteMusicElite. You asked if I wanted to record with you or do something.” He messages back almost instantly. “I’ll PM you right now and get out of this mess of fans.” Sky and I leave at almost the same time. I hear a ping and check my Gmail and see he messaged me. I mark it as read and get on YouTube. I read the message properly. “Do want to record? Or go do something?” I reply, “Let’s see if we can meet up somewhere. I bet you’re nowhere near where I am though.” “You’re sure? Where are you right now?” he asks. I tell him where I am and sure enough, I was right. He’s really far away. “Let’s just Skype then!” he suggests in a happy tone. I hesitantly turned on Skype and gave Sky my username. He comes on and we both don’t have cameras on, only voice. I get sadder every time Sky says, “Hello?” I finally type in the chat. “My microphone isn’t working” Which is a TOTAL lie. I go onto a text to voice site and type in what I want to say. I first type in, “I’m here. I fixed my microphone partially.” “Why aren’t you talking? Why are you using a robot voice?” He asks confused. I turn on my camera and wave. Sky turns on his camera and smirks slightly. “Well don’t you look nice?” He laughs, seeing my messy hair and clothes. I comb my hair with my fingers a small bit to make it look slightly better, not very. “Why don’t you talk?” he asks me. I type into the T->V (Text to Voice), “Not answering that,” “Why not?” he asks again. I almost cry. “What’s wrong?” he asks a third or fourth time. I type into the T->V, “What’s wrong is I’m mute! I want to record with you but I can’t! I can’t talk! That’s why I’m using this stupid website!!” I exit the Skype right before I burst into tears.
