Jacob was walking in the forest behind his house, the forest reminded him of the one near his childhood home. That forest was where he discovered his passion, photography, he loved being able to take pictures of the flora and fauna. Pictures were his only escape after his mother's passing a few months before his twenty-seventh birthday. After she died, he didn't notice that he had changed, but the people around him did. His ex-girlfriend had told that he was too possessive when she broke up with him. As he thought about it, his fists balled up. "She didn't understand," he said to himself, "I only wanted her to be safe." Jacob finally found something picture worthy, a doe nibbling at flower bulbs that have not bloomed. Many animals are coming out because of the weather has changed from a cold, lifeless winter to early spring. The sun shined bright, trying to tan his olive colored skin even more. A gentle breeze blow through his hair. "Could this day get any better?" he asked himself with a smile.

On the planet, Neva
Running away her father, who is chasing her with a sword in hand ready to kill her. As she runs, she wonders why her father wants her dead. Ambosa was a princess whose people loved her and wanted her to take over as queen. Even though she looked happy to her people, Ambosa lived a depressing life. Her father neglected her while her own mother would put her down by calling her worthless and ugly. The emotional abuse that her parents put her through made her a shy person, but she knew that she never wanted to be like her parents. Ambosa tripped when her father tried to slash her, but she quickly grabbed a sword from a wall. Her father laughed as she got into a fighting stance. " You think that you beat me." He didn't know that while he neglected her during her childhood the guards taught her how to defend herself. Ambosa charged at her father and clashed her sword with his. The look of disbelief on his face made her smile. As they fought, Ambosa dropped to the ground quickly and kicked her father's ankles making him fall to the ground. Throwing her sword at her father not hitting him, but his shirt making him trapped. She quickly ran to one of the spaceships and started the ship. As she got farther from her home Ambosa thought about where she would go and had an idea, she could go to a different galaxy. Setting the ship's route to the closest galaxy and putting it on autopilot. Ambosa wonder what her new home would be like. Would it have animals similar to the ones of her old planet? Would the plants try to eat people like the Venus flower did? As she thought about these questions, she decided to go to sleep until she was in the new galaxy.

Back on Earth
As he was taking pictures, Jacob heard a loud noise. Running to where he believed the noise came from. When he got there, he could believe what he was seeing an alien spaceship. He then notices someone coming out of the ship, it was a woman. Ambosa was awakened by the ship shaking out of control. She ran to the control panel and saw that the ship was out of gas. As the ship was falling into the planet's atmosphere, she went to a safe place near the back of the space. The air around her began to heat up, but she stood strong. The ship finally hit the ground, she got out, and looked around only to see a man. Jacob quickly ran to help the woman and noticed that she looked like she was not human. The woman had long white hair that looked like fresh snow and green eyes that remind him of his mother's jade necklace. Her skin was the complete opposite of his while his was olive colored, her was pale white. "Are you okay?" Jacob asked with concern. "Yes, I'm okay." she said with a blush. This man made her feel like her heart was going to burst.
"But where am I?" Ambosa asked
"You are in a forest, my dear." Jacob laughed
"No, I mean what planet is this?"
He finally understood that this woman was not from Earth, but his first hint that she wasn't from here was the spaceship. An alien was here on Earth and now what would happen to her would be on his hands.
"You are on Earth." he told her with a smile
"Thank you", she replied, "I'm Ambosa."
"I'm Jacob." he said.
Jacob knew he had to protect the woman in front of him. She looked so scared and defenseless, so he grabbed her hand and pulled her to him. Ambosa was so confuse by Jacob's actions, but didn't care. Something about Jacob screamed dominant and the guards that had trained her always told her that she was a strong fighter, but she was very submissive. She always knew that she need someone who could take charge in her life. "Will you come with me?" he asked her while he held her. She looked at him and nodded her head and they walked to his house as they held hands.
A Few Years Later

Jacob's life got better with Amber Rose, which is the new name that Ambosa went by. She made he feel like he was floating on cloud nine. As Jacob felt like he could finally get passed his mother's death, Amber Rose was like a gift sent to him from his mother in heaven. The two of them shared the problems that had made them into the people that they became today. So they got married three years after the day that first met and in the same forest. Then they had a little boy a year later that Jacob named Oliver. Oliver was the perfect mixture of his parents with his tan skin, black hair that he get from his father, and his mother's green eyes. Jacob and Amber Rose were sitting in their backyard watching Oliver play with one of his friends.
"This is the life isn't my dear?" Jacob asked her wife.
"Of course" Amber Rose replied.
The two kissed and knew that their new lives were just beginning, but they would pushed forward and leave the past behind.
