As a preface, to help avoid confusion later: Any text in italics are either thoughts or memories. Just thought I'd add that at the beginning real quick, even if it seems like it should be obvious to some of y'all.

Context: [N/A]; I'll only put this if I feel the oneshot suffers without it, and this one's fairly straightforward

So, anyways, with that out of the way, enjoy!

"You really don't remember anything?"

"Nothing." you sighed, shaking your head lightly, "But, y'know what, Ven?"

You paused, looking over to meet the bright blue eyes of your blonde haired friend.

"Maybe I'm not supposed to..." you stated simply.

"That's a bit of a depressing way to think about it, don't you think, [Name]?" Ven asked, his curious grin morphing into a frown.

You simply shrugged, looking back up to the stars. "It's probably better than worrying myself to death wondering about it."

"I guess so..." was all Ven could think to say, turning his gaze back to the sky as well. Although you had only turned up in the Land of Departure a few weeks earlier, it almost felt as if you had lived with him, Aqua, and Terra for your whole life. He always made sure to come clean to you about everything, especially when Aqua started trying to convince you that you had always lived in the Land of Departure.

He made sure to tell you everything he knew about you and your situation: he had found you lying unconscious in front of the Castle one night while sneaking out to stargaze. He had brought you inside, told Aqua, Terra, and Master Eraqus of his discovery, then stayed by your side until you came to, about two days later, with no recollection of anything other than your name.

Since then, the two of you had barely spent a moment apart. You had been a bit disoriented when you first had awoken, and he had taken it upon himself to be your personal guide whenever he wasn't out training with Aqua and Terra. Aqua had originally wanted to take on the responsibility herself, but after seeing how you began to open up around Ven, she and Terra both agreed it was the best plan of action. Soon enough, the two of you were joking around with each other as if you had known each other for a lifetime, and you opened yourself up to Aqua and Terra fairly soon afterwards.

You had even begun joining the three of them for training rather recently. Even though you weren't able to summon a Keyblade, you enjoyed being able to cheer on your friends in sparring matches, serving as a endless supply of moral support for all. However, a few days prior, Eraqus had asked to see you personally for a moment. He had said he sensed potential within you to possibly wield a Keyblade, and would be more than willing to assist in helping you realize it. Ven had been absolutely elated when you told him the news, and had promised to be right there with you when you first summoned it. A small grin grew on his face as he thought about it, allowing the world to fade away for a moment.

"Keyblades don't choose just anyone, right?" you asked, placing your hands on your hips proudly.

"Nope. It's an honor to be considered worthy to wield one." Ven said, smiling, "I'm sure you'll be able to summon yours soon!"

"I sure hope so..." you sighed, looking to the floor, "I wanna be able to join you, Aqua, and Terra as more than just moral support."
