Can't Wait to Meet You [Roxas]

Context: This oneshot takes place during the first half of the KHIII gameplay in Twilight Town; you live in Twilight Town, and are friends with Hayner, Pence, and Olette, and thus with Roxas, too (in the Digital Twilight Town, at least)

You were wandering the streets of Twilight Town, carrying a small bag with you to carry the groceries you were sent out to buy for your family's dinner that evening.

You sighed, wondering why one of your other siblings couldn't go and get the groceries, before you heard a voice calling out to you.

"Hey, [Name]!"

You turned around to see an orange-clad brunet running down the street in your direction.

"Olette! What's up? Is something wrong?" you asked.

Olette paused to catch her breath momentarily before meeting your gaze excitedly. "Sora's visiting Twilight Town again!"

"Sora?" you asked, tilting your head to the side. The name didn't quite ring a bell. "Who's that?"

"Oh, that's right! You were out of town on vacation when he came to visit before!" Olette said, "Well, you should come and meet him! Hayner, Pence, and I are trying to help him find a friend of his!"

You shook your head, "I'd love to Olette, but my parents will kill me if I don't bring back the groceries on time..."

Olette frowned. "Well, that's no fun....Maybe if you hurry, you could just meet us at the Old Mansion!"

Your eyes widened slightly. "The Old Mansion? Why there?"

Your brunette friend giggled. "You'll see if you hurry up and come! See ya there, [Name]!"

You opened your mouth to protest, but Olette simply giggled once more and turned to run back down the street.

Sighing in defeat, you pulled out the shopping list you were given before running off to the grocery store.

This better be worth it, Olette!

You let out a worried scream as you ran past a handful of small, black creatures that had appeared in the woods as you made your way through them towards the Old Mansion. You could remember Olette, along with your other friends, Pence and Hayner, having told you about monsters like these that had shown up in town at one point, but since you had been out on vacation, you'd never seen them in person.

"I sure hope you three know what you're dragging me into..." you muttered under your breath, dodging a clawed swipe from one of the monsters as the Mansion came into view.

You sped up just a bit more, trying to put some distance between you and the creatures. You could see Hayner, Pence, and Olette standing in front of the Mansion, as well as three other figures you didn't recognize.

"Olette!" you called out, dodging yet another swipe from a creature right on your tail as you created the hill in front of the Mansion.

"[Name]!" the brunette cried in worry, as the three unfamiliar figures stepped forward.

"More Heartless!" you heard one of them, the boy with the spiky hair, shout in alarm. You could have sworn you heard another voice saying the same thing with him...

You brushed the thought aside as you grew closer to the Mansion, and the boy summoned an oversized key in his hand and ran towards the creatures, trailed by two humanoid animals. But that wasn't what surprised you...there was a duck that ran a bistro back in town...
