After being brought inside and treated to some of Tori's pie, Chara spent quite a bit of time catching up. Frisk, however, stayed silent, receiving wordless glances from Chara every few minutes. Once the hour's long conversation ended, they both visited Chara's old room, being left in pristine condition despite the owner's long absence.
"We must go and greet the rest of the monsters, especially father," Clara said, looking around to see what's changed. She then turned to frisk, the baleful red eyes burrowing into her mind and soul. "But, if you ruin this, I will not hesitate to end you." A dangerous glint followed, revealing a red blade poised to strike as a warning. Frisk nodded vigorously at this, not wanting to lose this life just yet. "Come on then, we must inform the mother." She dragged the smaller girl by her hand and went to see Tori.
After a brief conversation about it, Tori left to prepare something. Both children knew what would be happening, however, and followed. Meeting her near the door, Tori told Chara that if she could prove her strength, she'd let them go. As they prepared to fight, Frisk letting Chara prove her martial prowess alone. "Alright, Chara." Tori sunk into a martial stance as a ring of magical flame appeared, Chara sunk into a similar stance and prepared herself, her wide, red eyes narrowed in focus.
It was Tori who struck first, using her so-called soft fighting to safely knock Chara out. Lunging towards, Chara caught a blow on her right forearm, twisting it around and using it to jab at Tori, seeing her efforts skillfully blocked. Chara fought normally for the most part, to a stalemate. Clara, going for a kick, was blocked by Tori's leg. Chara, however, planned this outcome.
She hooked her foot on Tori's leg, using her strength and lightweight body, she flung herself past Tori's guard in an unexpected move, bringing Tori to one knee by kicking the back of her knee using the momentum gained. Tori smirked at this, "I see you haven't forgotten your training, child." She sighed. "I suppose you have passed me in skill..." She frowned and rose to her feet. "Go, I'll wait for you here, I am no longer fit for such an arduous journey."
With a few goodbyes, the children departed, bringing along a pie due to Tori's insistence. As they left the tunnel, with Frisk holding the pie, an attack was sent Chara's way. Barely dodging the unexpected attack, she yelped in surprise and looked towards the assailant. She grinned at the figure. "Hello, comedian."
