It was a normal school day, and you didn't have any classes with (Y/C/N). The only time you got to see him and his beautiful smile at lunch and after school. All of your classes before lunch passed and you are now sitting by yourself, like always. The table (Y/C/N) sits at is all filled with his other friends. You and (Y/C/N) we're best friends in fifth and sixth grade. Other people would say you and him/her would make a cute couple. (Y/C/N) would always make you laugh and the way they smile just makes you melt. You were sitting alone and you make eye contact and he/she smiled at you. You smiled back and looked away. You put your head down and you suddenly feel a tap on your shoulder. You look up and see (Y/C/N) looking down at you and smiling. They suddenly said, "Why are you alone?" I sighed and said, "I don't know..." He/she sat right in front of you and your stomach was going crazy. You couldn't stop smiling and he/she noticed it. "I love when you smile." You looked at him and felt your cheeks turning hot. "Uh, heh thank you... I love your smile more" (Y/C/N) suddenly said, "Hey, let's go somewhere where it's less noisy. I miss talking to you." You couldn't believe this was happening and your heart was racing. "Okay!" You both got up and walked beside each other. You guys talked and your hands occasionally touched each other. You got to the field and sat on the grass. You both looked at each other and started to laugh. (Y/C/N) stops and grabs your hand gently. You look at him and smile slightly. He/She says, "(Y/N) I've been meaning to tell you something for a while.." You say, "What is it (Y/C/N)?" He/She looked embarrassed and scratched the back of his/her neck. They say, "I've liked you for a long time, and all those times in sixth grade when people said that we would make a cute couple, I totally agree with them. Since then, you were always on my mind and was scared to tell you that I love you.." You were shocked to hear that you felt the same way and was scared. He/She says, "Will you be my girlfriend/boyfriend?" You smiled so widely and hugged him very tightly. "Yes, (Y/C/N)!" He/She suddenly kissed you. It was your first kiss and it felt so amazing. His/Her soft lips against yours just made your day. He/She pulled away and the bell rang. You both got up and (Y/C/N) says, "I'll see you later." And they wink at me. This was a day I would never forget. 💝
