I was making breakfast in kitchen and Manik's phone is ringing in our room from a long time. I thought he will pick it up as he is in the room only. It's continuously ringing but he isn't picking it up.
"What will I do with this boy?"
I ran to the room and heard the sound of shower. That means he is in the washroom.
I took his phone and saw some unknown number. Without thinking much I picked up the call. It's really common when I pick up his calls. He wants me to join office as well but I don't like that. I love being housewife.
"Hello," I picked up the call.
"Hello, isn't it Manik sir's number?" asked the person from other side. I could feel he became confused hearing someone else's voice.
"Yes, he is in washroom. You can tell me. I am his wife," I replied.
"Good morning, mam. Actually I was about to join office from today but I have an emergency in my home. So, I won't be able to join today. His PA asked me to inform him and take his permission," he explained.
"It's ok. I will tell him," I replied.
"Thank you, mam. Have a good day," he cut the call after that.
I kept the phone down and started picking up Manik's file which he has shattered around the room. I am really fed up with his this habit. No matter how many times I organize his things, he will again mess up them in a few minutes.
He came out of washroom and stood behind me.
I was about to move when he pulled me towards him holding me from my waist. I had no other option than deal with this romantic Manik now. Actually his romantic mood never really goes.
But let me tell you a secret, I love this romantic Manik. I also encircled my hands around his neck.
"Who had called?" Manik asked.
"Office call. An employee was about to join from today, right?" I said to make him remember.
" Yes," he agreed.
" He called to inform that he can't join today as he has some emergency in his family," I told him the reason and as I expected he didn't bother about his position. He knew how to respect family.
" That's fine," he replied.
"Hmm," I had nothing to say so I was playing with his shirt button.
