Evelyn POV

'I can't wait...'

The Royal Masquerade
An occasional Ball held by the Royal Family during the begining of The Summer Solstice to represent the End of the Cold and Dark Winter

Evelyn had been so busy with the preperations that she hasnt been able to be with her Partner for months

Even though she had made her Partner the Royal Librarian's Apprentice

The work load as Queen wasn't exactly....merciful

Evelyn had prepared the dress Her Partner was to wear and sent it to her by the Royal Servants

Evelyn herself was to take an entire day to prepare
And the only break she was to recieve from the ball was when it was over

And that was fine
Because she had plans for her and her love....

Later

Evelyn POV

"Thank You my Dear subjects...it has been the Best Masquerade Our Kingdom has seen in Millennia after the war...and I thank you for your cooperation in preparing and organizing this Maginificent Ball...But it is time we retire for the night..And I intend to see you all in the dusk tomorrow for the festivities To begin Once Again!!!"

The loud chorus of cheers was the only response before the Crowd of Elven subjects had begun to retreat to the city

" *sigh* That was exhausting..."

"Milady , The Royal Librarian's Apprentice is available and awaiting your return at the Royal Chamber.."

The hand servant said with a bow and a smug smirk she thought was hidden

"You may call her Your Queen...She is my mate and do not forget that, I would like it if you treat her with respect, if you like that head on your neck"

An audible gulp was heard

"Ofcourse Your Majesty"
She apologized bowing deeper

"Prepare My attire and make sure that it looks ....jaw dropping"

"Right Away"

Shrishtii POV

*SIGH*

"I've been waiting for an hour Evelyn...WHERE ARE YOU??!!!"

"I'm here darling..did you miss me that much?"

Slender and cold arms wrapped around her waist...as a sultry and silk-like voice spoke mere inches away from her ear

"I-I..woah"

Shrishtii was left with her mouth hanging open as she took in the sights ahead of her

Evelyn was wearing a night gown that left little to the imagination...her long hair perfectly framing her face as green eyes glow with a passion she has never seen

"What is it? Tabby cat got your tongue?"
Evelyn chuckled

'Ahh...that laugh ...butterflies in my stomach..' Shrishtii thought

Evelyn POV

"What is it? Tabby cat got your tongue?"

I chuckled with my eyes closed

Suddenly i felt myself being pulled downwards

Shrishtii was hugging me and she pulled us both down on the bed
Me on top

"I missed you soo much" she sniffled in my shoulder

'Ahhh you dont know much I've missed you too my love'

"I missed you too love...I'm sorry, work has been tough hasn't it?"

I said as i hugged her back as tight as I could

I tried hugging her to keep my mind of off something

'Her scent'

'Her beautiful scent that pulled me to her
Its beautfil and exploring aroma that came from her whenever she was happy or sad or mad or even...smad heh'

'I cant take it anymore!'
