Jay and Chauncey looked at each other. Grace stared at the two of them with an eyebrow raised. Together, they said, "Why were you at his house?"

"His mom invited me for dinner." She said. "Something wrong with that?" Grace stared at the two of them with a confused look.

The two of them opened their mouths but nothing came out. Silence fell on the three of them. Grace rolled her eyes. "Hurry up and say it, guys."

Chauncey looked away and rubbed his neck. While Jay was staring at the marble floor. Both of them didn't know what to say as they didn't have a reason for why they were acting like this.

Frustrated, Grace sighed, "Sorry for not telling you two. I forgot, okay? Problem solved?" She asked.

The two of them nodded hesitantly.
"Now lets go to school," Grace said.
She took her skateboard and smiled when she saw the two of them following her actions.

-

The school bell rang, making everyone in the classroom get up from their chairs and get their school bags.
"Bye, Mrs Loris!" Chauncey, Jay, and Grace said to the teacher at her desk. They left the classroom and exited out of the school.

"School was so boring," complained Grace.

Chauncey nodded, before grinning, an idea making his way into his head. "Hey, let's play video games at my house! We can also watch movies there!"

Jay beamed. "Perfect!" If he had went to his home, he was sure to get nagged at to do his homework. He wanted to avoid that by all costs.

A smirk tugged at Grace's lips, "I'm going to kick you guys to the curb once I play a game."

Chauncey laughed. "Oh its on, Gracie."

"Don't call me that!" She grumbled under her breath. Jay grinned.

"Oh Gracie-" he was cut off by the light punch on his shoulder.

"Shut up," Grace said.

-

"Hey, Garci." Chauncey's brother, Justin, said once he saw Grace in between Jay and Chauncey. "Whatcha doing here today?"

She grinned, "Hey, Jut. I'm here to entertain myself from dying out of pure boredom!"

"Cool," Justin cracked a smile. He let the three kids step into the house and venture in further before closing the door.

Chauncey turned to his brother, eyeing him up and down. He knew that he was going to somewhere. "Where you heading off to, Justin?" Chauncey asked suspiciously.

Justin shrugged, turning to face his brother. "Just a date with Angela. It will only take an hour or a half, Chacey. Don't worry."

"Why should I?" Chauncey scoffed, and began walking towards his two friends who had gone to upstairs, probably to his room. "Besides, this happens all the time. Its nothing special to worry about," he shouted as he ascended the stairs.

Justin sighed the moment his little brother's figure was out from his sight. He knew that he wasn't spending much time with Chauncey and felt a bit bad.

As Chauncey neared towards the door of his room, he rolled his eyes at the thought of his older brother sleeping around. "Of course he would do that," Chauncey muttered under his breath.

He reached for the doorknob, twisting it so it could open and let him enter. The door opened and Chauncey walked past it, closing it behind him.

"Charcoal! What took you so long to get here?" Grace asked, taking another bite of her 15th chip she had just taken from the bag of saltiness.
