    Brians P.O.V

I think everyone already likes Tim! This is great! Im glad they like him because he's not leaving. He needs protection, I can feel it in my guts. He's nice, funny, shy and he seems to have an aura around him, giving out an odd feeling of comfort with under tones of sadness. He seems different, lonely, incredible. The best friend our group could ask for, and I'm not letting Him ruin him. He is staying with us, and thats final. He's not leaving.

When I let go, I looked down at him. I smiled. "Welcome to the group,Tim." He smiled up at me. His eyes held happiness, acceptance and relief. We heard the bell ring and I saw the others faces fall in realization as they all slowly turned their attention and heads toward the schools doors. We had five minutes to get to our classes.

We all scrambled to get to the door. I had Science, I knew that. What does Tim have? I'm helping him get there! He's going to get lost then get in trouble with a teacher and make a bad impression and that could ruin everything. It doesn't matter if it is on the other side of the school! "Whats your next class?" I asked him, slightly lowering my head to meet his. For having legs that short, he sure is fast.

"Science, Why is this school so big?!" He questioned with frustration lacing his tone. I smiled. Looks like I can get to know him even better. We threw open the doors into the crowded hallways. Jane was right behind us with Natalie, Helen and Jonathan were in front of us along with Jeff and Ben. I grabbed his hand and ran in front of them. It made me worried when I saw him slightly flinch at my sudden action. The science room is far, its on the other side of the school. Maybe we should have thought this through more. We raced through the bodies of other students. We entered hallways upon hallways and turned corners among corners, all of which being crowded to the point of claustrophobia.

I saw the door to the Science room at the end of the hall come into view. We raced through the sea of bodies to make it to the door and opened it just as the second bell rang. I made sure to hide Tim as much as possible when we entered. I want as little attention drawn to him as possible.

"Just on time, Mr. Thomas. Make sure to get here earlier next time, you're starting to cut it really clos- Who's this?" She cut herself off when she saw Tim peek out from behind me. All eyes turned to Tim. This did not go as planned. I felt him hide himself more behind me. I looked back at him. His eyes were widened more than usual and they were slightly glossy and his breathing felt heavier on my back. His grip was tight on my jacket sleeve as he looked up at me, his eyes pleading.

"This is Tim." I looked at the teacher. "He's new." I looked back at him again. His eyes had  faintly closed to their normal size but were still slightly glazed over. His grip wasn't as tight on my sleeve. I took him to the back of the classroom as the teacher started the lesson. I guided him to the corner and took the seat next to him. He was reluctant to let go, but eventually sat down. He was still shaking. "Are you okay?" He just nodded, his black hair was matted to his forehead as if he was sweating. I silently slid my desk closer to his. The teacher kept talking, not giving us a second glance. She kept talking about particles? Im not quite sure. My main focus is to make sure Tim is alright.

"Are you sure?" He just gave me another silent nod, staring down at the fake wooden desk.I could tell he was lying by the way he silently drew invisible patterns on the desk infant of him. His eyes kept glancing around the room as if he was searching for some kind of danger. His breathing was still heavy, but I could tell he was trying hard to keep it controlled. I softened my gaze and looked at his eyes until he met my gaze, his eyes held nerves bundles to the core, laced together with anxiety. "No, you're not." My voice was soft and just above a whisper. He locked eyes with me. He opened his mouth and cast his eyes to the side quickly, as if he was afraid to hold my eyes for too long.
