So we get to a point in life where you think about all the possibilities, and limitations of your future. Some people dream to be a astronaut. Some people want to be a Mechanical Engineer. And then there's me.
"What do you want to be in the future, Tim?" asked my pre-school teacher, her dove brown eyes staring at me.
"I want to be a spoon!"
"Oh, and why's that?" Hiding a chuckle.
"Because spoons are awesome!"
Yeah, I wasn't the brightest kid around. Sometimes I wonder what the teacher thought back then, putting her hand onto my shoulders and smiling enthusiastically. Actually, I'm pretty sure it's along the lines of "We have another retard", "I'm not getting paid enough for this", or "I wonder what's on channel 4 today?". Instead,
"That's great Timmy. I'm sure you'll do great"
Yeah, we're all retards on the inside anyway.
Oh, I almost forgot to introduce myself. I'm Timothy Vale, Tim for short, and I'm a girl.
Yup, I said it. A girl. With a capital G.I.R.L. My mum thought it would be the best idea ever to name her child after the actor Tim Curry from her golden days. What she probably failed to realize was that her baby "boy" was actually a baby "girl", but by the time they finally acknowledge my gender existance the GEN register was signed and dusted, and any extra charges were to be avoided like the plague. Besides, Tim can also be a girl's name, right?
