Talking

We get to the cafeteria that is filled with people and the smell of many different food stations. We walk up to the different food stations and I look around amazed by how many food options they have. Jack looks at me and smiles. "Do you know what you want to eat?" He asks taking his wallet out from his back pocket. I look around and see a taqueria. "Oh, lets go there." I say pointing in the direction of the restaurant I found. "Okay." He says smiling as we walk that way. We get there and I look at the menu deciding what to get. "What are you going to eat?" I ask Jack still looking at the menu board. "I am thinking the nachos. What about you?" He asks looking over at me. I look away from the board to look over at him. "I am thinking nachos too." I take out my wallet and walk over to the register as Jack follows behind me to get in line. "Hello," I say to the cashier. "I will take the nachos and a water. Please." "Okay, that will be three dollars." She says as I hand her my card. She swipes my card and hands it back with my water. I walk over and find a table as Jack orders. 

Jack walks over to the table and sits down across from me. I  grab my nachos off the plate and I stick a chip in my mouth. "So," Jacks says moving around the chips in his bowl. "How is campus looking so far?" "Campus is beautiful and everything has been so easy to find. That makes it helpful." I say with a small smile. "That's good, glad you like it. What are you studying?" He asks taking small bites of his chips. "I am studying business. What are you studying?" I ask pushing around my chips. "I am studying business also. I want to open a music studio. That may be a little hard." He says letting out a small laugh. "No way. That's cool. I would never be able to do that, I don't have a musical bone in my body." "I don't believe that." He says taking a sip from his drink. 

We finish our food and we get up throwing our trash away. We walk back towards the lecture buildings. Jack asked if he could walk me to my next lecture and I said yes. "So." I say breaking the silence. "Why do you have your nails painted?" "Oh, yea. I have a little sister. I let her paint them." He said looking at his nails. "That's cool." I say looking over at him smiling. We reach the building and I pulled my schedule out of my back pocket. Jack looks over at me and my schedule. "Where's your next lecture at?" He asks me still looking at my schedule. "It's down the hall." I say folding up my schedule. "Cool. Is it okay if I walk you?" "Yea, sure." I say with a small smile on my face.

We reach my lecture hall and I stop a while before the door. "Well, thanks for walking me." I say looking up at him. "Your welcome. It was my pleasure." He says with a small smile on his face. "I will see you around." I say walking to the door. "See you around Lily." He says at me. There is no way I am falling for Jack.
