Chapter 10

Glaceys pov.

I watched as the ancient witch mixed the herbs into the boiling hot water and poured them into a vial. "This will make your heart immune for only twenty minutes. You will wake about ten or fifteen after you remove the stake. You will be as an original. You will look dead but only really be unconscious. You will most likely wake with a splitting head ache. Take this for that.", she said handing me a small bundle of herbs. "Make them into a tea and drink it and it will help. And then you will be fine.", she said. I nodded and looked to Elijah. He thanked her and then led us out.

"Elijah are we sure about this?", I questioned. "Yes my love.", He smiled softly. "Niklaus will stab you and as soon as he flips the switch we will take it out.", he said. "What if he doesn't?", I questioned. "Why wouldn't he? He loves you after all.", he said. "I know I'm just nervous.", I said. "If for some reason he doesn't I will carry you out of sight and remove the stake. Wait for you to wake up and then you will stay away from him so he believe you are dead and then we move on to either Damon or Elena, I had the witch put in enough for two doses.", he smiled softly. "Your perfect you know that?", I smiled and he pecked my lips.

I took a deep breath as I just out of Stefan's sight. Damon nor Elena knew my plan yet. I downed half of the vial and then walked in to the cell with my brothers and Elena with Elijah following me and Klaus sulking behind.

Elijah's pov.

Stefan chuckled as we entered. "You really think they are going to get me to flip my switch!??", he laughed. "Stefan please.", Glacey cooed. "Nope.", he smirked popping the p. "Will if that won't work... maybe this will.", Klaus smirked and shot forward and drove the stake into Glaceys back piercing her heart! I felt my stomach drop as she did the floor. "NOOOOO!!!!", Damon screamed as he gathered her in his arms!!! Elena stood mouth hanging open! "NIKLAUS!!!!",I yelled and sent him flying up the stairs!  "Get out brother.", I hissed. Selling the fact she was dead. I turned and Stefan stared out into space. I could see the light turn on in his eyes. "Glacey...??", he questioned. She had looked to have desiccated. She had turned great and her veins showed. "Gl- Glacey.", he whimpered. Tears rolled down Damon's face. Stefan crawled over and stroked her hair. "Baby sister.... no...", he sobbed. He was back. "Damon please let me hold her.", I said. He wouldn't budge. Till Elena pulled him into her. I pulled her into my arms and I yanked out the stake. "We must get her up stairs and comfortable." I instructed. "Why? She's dead.", Elena mumbled. "Please just.. all of you follow me. ", I said. Damon released Stefan and they all three followed me. Niklaus waited for us there. I laid her down on the couch and draped a blanket over her. "Go and prepare the tea brother.", I said and handed him the herbs. "What the hell are you doing!?", Damon snapped. "She's not dead. Just... unconscious.", I said. "What did you say?", Stefan questioned. "She took a serum that made her heart basically reject the stack but yet make her look dead. Once the stake is removed she will wake in a few minutes. And the herbs are for her head ache when she wakes.", I explained. "Well why didn't we know?", Damon questioned. "Because we need you to have a real reaction. Stefan would have known other wise if we had told you.", I said. Damon nodded. Agreeing with my statement. With that we all took a seat and waited for her to wake up.
