for jungkook, solars diner was something he utterly enjoyed. it was probably because how beautifully mellow it is, or how he was doing something he loved with the people he cares so deeply for.

jungkook admired the couple who owned the blissful diner; solar and hoseok, two wonderful people who he thought of the parents he never had. and for his best friend, min yoongi, he probably wouldn't know how to live, they were practically joined my the hips since the very beginning.

with those four being the only ones who work there , you'd think it'd be stressful, but not to them, they love every minute of it.
that saying, jungkook was very happy with life.

jungkook was humming a random tune and wiping town the tables, till he heard solar say, "kookie, you have ten more minutes until we close" walking up to the jukebox. " what do you want to listen to, koo?" she asked, giving a grin. " i think we should listen to 'Sunflower' by Rex Orange County ? " hoseok sighs, walking over to sit over in a booth, " again? we've heard it one too many times"

hoseok wasn't wrong, they would play it on repeat and sing n' dance until they were out of breath. "hobi shush, you like it" solar said, jungkook humming in agreement.

just then, a man walked in, "welcome to solars diner!" they the three said in unison. Looking at the man, jungkooks mouth dropped in awe on how good-looking this guy was. " you just came in time, we were just about to close. if you'll pick a seat, this guy will take your order" hoseok said, pointing at junkook who had a bright red face.

walking over, " w-what can i get you?" junkook asked, looking down shyly; holding the pen n notepad with his clammy hands, ready to write down the mans order. " uh yeah, can i have the chicken and waffle meal with a strawberry milkshake, please?" he asked. jungkook being blown away by his voice would be an understatement, it was deep n smooth, and it made jungkook slightly die inside. he just nodded and walked away awkwardly, ready to give hoseok the guys order.

in the corner of his eye, he saw solar running over to him, " oohh, my kookie has a little as crush~" wiggling her eyebrows. burning beet read, lightly hitting her arm, "shut up" he mumbled, trying to perfect the strawberry milkshake. suddenly she gasps, " koo, have an idea, follow me" putting the candied cherry in top, grabbing it to give to the man.
