Chapter 4

Drew’s P.O.V

(The next morning)

It is now 4 am in the morning and have been lying in bed for at least two hours and I am exhausted the reason for me being up this early, which NEVER EVER happens, is Eric he has been on my mind since that kiss he gave me on my cheek

I sigh getting off my bed and shiver as my feet hit the cold floor I make my way to the bathroom and stop to see my reflection and let out a very non-manly ( I don’t know if that’s a word)  scream. I look like the firkin walking dead, ya’ know like those zombies from World War Z. “Why are you screaming Drew? It’s too early for this.” She said waving her hands around like a mad woman “I’m screaming cause I look the firkin walking dead.” I rely turning around to prove my point “Oh my I see what you mean, sorry bub but you really do look horrible.” She said looking at me sympathetically

 “Well thanks mom it’s not every day that I get such a nice comment” I replied sarcastically. “I am going to take a shower now so if you don’t mind.” I said a little sassily “don’t you gat sassy with me young man. “She warned in a serious but playful tone, and with that she left. When I finished my shower and got dressed I made my way down stairs to find a plate of pancakes and chocolate croissants on it “ jeez mom are you trying to get me fat or something ?” I ask looking at all the food “actually I am you need to get some meat on those bones because if you don’t there might be a problem when it comes to you and you mate mating.” She said moving over to me “why would there be a problem.” I ask “ well you honey your mate will need something to hold on to, don’t get me wrong  you’ve got a cute little bum and all but…”  the sound of the ball cut her off “ saved by the bell.” I muttered making my way to the door

I opened the door and standing on the porch was Eric “hello princess “he greeted with a big smile on his face “Hi Eric.” I replied giving him a small smile “No offence princesses but you look like you have been hit by a bus.” He said walking over to me the smile wiped of my face “thanks, why are you here? “ I ask looking up at him blankly “Don’t be like that princess Oh and I came to pick you up so that you wouldn’t have to walk to school.” he said a smirk playing on his lips “thanks but no thanks.” I say rather rudely. I know that Eric was not being rude when he said that it looked like I was hit by a bus but it really hurt to hear him say that. “Come on princess don’t be mad at me.” He said engulfing me in his strong arms. My hands fisted the material of his hands “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to be rude it’s just not nice when someone tells you that you look ugly.” I said holding on to his shirt tighter “Its ok princes don’t worry about it.” He said softly into my ear He let go of me and looked ma straight in the eye “you’re not ugly I think that you are the most beautiful thing I have ever laid eyes on “he said gently

I looked down blushing “aww that’s so sweet, Eric.” I heard my mom say from behind us. Way to ruin a moment I think to myself “you Know drew your father never said thing like that to me. “She said a moment later “hello Mrs Spark. “ Eric greeted politely “hello Eric call me Julia.” My mom said with a friendly smile on her face “what are you doing here?” she asks tilting her head to the side “I’m here to pick up drew.” he said pointing in my direction Oh well that’s very  kind of you “ let’s go Eric we are going to be late if we don’t leave now .” I say pulling him towards his car “drew you need your bag my mom.” calls rushing inside to go and get it “why are you in such a hurry we g\have got like an hour until we have to be at school.” He said looking at me questioningly U-um I just wanted to be early.” I as mom brings me my school bag “bye see you later bub, enjoy your day.” she says giving me a kiss on the cheek. “See you later mom. “ I mumble and make my way to the passenger door “bye Julia.” Eric calls waving as he comes around to my side opening the door “thank you.” I say giving Him a smile “My pleasure.” He replied closing the door he got into the car and started the engine. He pulled away from my house and made his way down the road. We sat in a comfortable silence.

Eric’s P.O.V”

“ How old are you Drew?” I asked suddenly breaking the silence “I am 15.” he said looking at me with a confused look on his face “oh, so that’s why you have not had your first heat yet.” I said Looking at drew. He looked down with a blush coating his cheeks “ W—why do y-y-you ask” he said stuttering a bit while looking up at me through his long  lashes “I just wanted to know.” I said shrugging “oh. “He said biting his lip “ don’t do that.” I said brushing my thumb over his bottom lip.

He released his lip and looked up at me questioningly “I find it distracting.” I say racking my fingers through my hair. “O” he mouthed looking down again

 (at school)

When we arrived  at school drew was looking at me nervously “ what’s the matter Princess ?” I asked looking down at him “ can you  take home after school because I don’t really want to walk because of what happen last time .” He said looking at his feet “ Of course princess I wouldn’t make you walk , now come on we are going to be late.” I say putting my arm around his shoulder

 I walked him to his first class which happened to be drama “ See you after school princess.” I say giving him a kiss on his cheek “ Where must I wait for you?” he asks with cherry red cheeks . Gosh he looks adorable I swear his cuteness will be the death of me. “ You can meet me in front of the main gate.” I say “Okay see you then Eric .” he said standing on his tippy toes to give a kiss on the cheek and before I could reply he was already in class

This is going to be a long day
