                She drew in a deep breath that sounded more like she was choking on a frog than the sigh she'd intended.

        "Can't sleep?" Her husband, Mark asked with an inquisitive look.

         "I guess not."

         "The kids sure didn't have any problems," Mark glanced back at the sleeping forms of their children. 

        "Maybe I should crawl back with them... or not" she said with a chuckle knowing her joke fell more than a little flat.

                Grabbing her hand gently, Mark held it in his as he drove the darkened highway.   It had been a long day for both of them. 

        "At least, we have some peace and quiet. My head is throbbing and I'm exhausted. I feel like I could sleep for days."

                Sarah pressed her fingers to her forehead, attempting to rub away the sharp stabbing pain.

        "I know, sweetheart." He said with such genuine concern it made her smile.  They'd been through a lot these past few months. And she was grateful to have such a good man at her side. 

        "We'll be home in ten minutes, I'll put the kids to bed." He added with a wink, "We can climb under the covers ourselves."

              Giggling like a freshman in college.

"Oh that sounds like a proposition, Mr. Greyson. I guess I should have told you, I'm not that kind of girl."

        Mark cradled her hand as he brought it gently to his lips.

        "That's okay. I like a challenge."   A mischievous grin flitted across his face. 

   His lips on her skin felt electric and her stomach swirled madly with butterflies. After all these years together, we still got it.
