This was it I knew I would die this time. Shane was right next to me and is squeezing my hand as we wait for the results. The doctor emerged from the door with the paper in his hands slowly but with pride he took his chair behind the big brown oak desk.

"Positive" he smiles, I feel happy but worried at the same time, I sneak a glance at Shane's face his expression he was smiling a grin stretching from ear to ear.

"Twins aswell" the doctor announced

"Wow really" I asked, unaware if I was dreaming

"Certain" replied the doctor, me and shane got up and left the office as soon as we step out the office he kissed me with passion and fire. Eve and Michael were waiting for us when we got out.

"Guessing by your reaction I'm assuming you were positive" Eve asked excitedly

"Yes with twins" me and shane replied at the same time as if we were Siamese twins.

The journey to go to the glass house was filled with conversations about baby clothes , toys, matching stuff

Eve wants to help with the baby shower which was meant to be a surprise but got spoilt when she asked if we could come. though I seemed to notice Michael was being very quiet in the front, I slipped forward and asked him what was wrong but he just said he was tired , I say back and thought vampires don't get tired or do they.

Then suddenly Michael swerved the hearse around and started driving at top speed towards vampire Central he took us to the elders council and parked the hearse in the underground parking area. But before we got out he started to explain "right in Morganville you can't have a child without permission other wise they will destroy it I wanted to bring you here so that'll you'll know if you can have the twins ahead or having a broken heart later"

A single tear broke from my face I got out the car and started walking towards Amelie's office and barged in on her and Oliver having a game of chess.

Without looking up from the game Amelie said "yes my child you may have your twins and if your about to asked how I know the doctors sent me a report and I heard your conversation on the car it was going to be a no because who would look after poor old Myrnin but I have found a replacement for the time being"

"But surely the replacement won't last a week how could you do that " I replied and I found that Michael ,Eve and Shane had joined me .

"Now now I shall explain another day but for know I shall bid you goodbye."

We walked back to the car in silence but all I could think was how happy I was but how worried I was, what would happen to that poor substitute?
