Turning the page (Ayato x Yui)

Another Chance

Yui smiled at him, after all the pain, she still smiled. Ayato was completely speechless at her words. "It's all my fault?" he thought as he stared at Yui. He could see the pain in her rhinestone eyes behind that smile, though she was happy. "Y-Yui?" he spoke. He cannot find anything to say after her words. It's like his voice went away from him. He never really thought about loving her, it was just possesion. He wanted to just go and hug her but he knew that there was a long path to her. He has to reach out to her but he was just falling back.

From the beginning, it was true that he never loved her. He just wanted to posses her, to keep her with him because of her sweet blood. After she confessed, all he thought was victory against his brothers and the Mukami brothers. So, he accepted to keep her around him. He was too proud of himself that he never noticed the effort she would put into their relationship. Was she really happy enough to just be with him, without him caring or loving her? Now he knows how pain would feel. "Ayato, this meeting is over, let me see Hayate," she says which made him face her. Without thinking he hugged her in a second that Yui didn't even see him. He was hugging her, she was surprised but she dare not hope anything from him anymore. "Ayato, what are you doing?" she asked. He was silent, he just hugged her tighter, almost like crushing her. She was petite and well, not flat anymore, her locks went to the middle of her back. She wanted to get free because he was crushing her. "Ay-Ayato.....L-let go," she said out of breath and she struggled and tried pushing him but to no avail. He was still stronger in strength. Yui really wants him to set her free but he isn't listening. "Ayato!" she screamed in pain but his eyes only went wide. He snapped out of his thoughts and he let some space only but he didn't let her go. "You aren't going anywhere anymore," he says and pulls down her blouse collar then sinks his teeth into her neck. "Aaaaahhhh!!!" she screams in pain. It was always like this. Her blood was being sucked again, but it's been so long, shouldn't she be used to it? Her strength was fading and she gave up struggling. He got his teeth out and she fell but he caught her. "H-Hayate," she weakly says and he frowns. "Both of you.......Are staying," he mumbles but Yui heard him before her eyes closed.

"Chirp, chirp, chirp," the birds outside sing. Their voice made Yui open her eyes slowly. The sun's rays shine upon her face and she slowly sits up. "Nghh," she groans as she sits up while rubbing her eyes. She yawned and looked around, she was in a different room but it was fancy and really nice. As much as she enjoys looking at beautiful things, she starts to think up questions. "Wht happened?" was all she could mutter. She felt pain shoot through her neck and she flinched. "Ow," she says and rubs her neck when she felt two dots on her skin. "Huh? What-" she stopped when she remembered that she was bitten. The memories of yesterday flashed her mind and she stayed silent for minute. When Hayate came into her head, she gasped. "Where is Hayate?" she asked, almost panicking. "He's fine, both of you are," a voice says. Yui looked to the window's direction and saw Ayato neatly wearing some casual clothes. "Where did you take me Ayato?! Where is my son?!" Yui asks and he turns around. "You mean OUR SON?" he asks and she glared at him. "You have no right to call him your son," Yui mumbles and Ayato flinched at hearing that however, he didn't say anythinh about it and pretended to not hear. "Ayato, please let me and Hayate out," Yui states and Ayato plainly answers, "You two aren't going anywhere." Yui sighs and frowns. "Then at least tell me where he is," Yui tells him. "He is in his bedroom, you, of course, are inside our room," Ayato answers while checking his phone. "Ayato, I wanna get out of here and see my son. Let me do so, and who said that I am willing to stay here?" Yui asks as she stood up and began walking to the door. Just as she was about to reach for the handle, something flashed in front of her and crush into the wall beside her. Looking down, it was a phone. Turning to her right, Ayato was glaring at her. "You two are staying no matter what! I make the decisions for both of you. You understand?! I am the father of course I am the head of this family," Ayato says in an angry tone. "Who said that we are a family?" Yui thought in her mind as she clenches her fist. "Whatever you say, just let me see him first," Yui says when Ayato walked up to her. "You should take a bath first, before meeting him, then we'll eat," Ayato states as he leaned against the wall in front of her. "Ahem, you look like you have a meeting soon, why are you wearing casual? Shouldn't you be more mature?" Yui asks in annoyance. "All these years and he hasn't grown up," Yui thought. "So what? I am the boss, no one dares to command me," Ayato proudly says with a smirk and Yui looks away. Mainly because that was the same smirk that makes her blush. "Ahem, fine. I'll go take a bath," Yui simply says and enters the bathroom. Ayato just sits on the bed and grabs the telephone in the room that was on top of the bedside table. "Hey, I wanna order a new phone," he spoke after he entered the number.
