While jake was sitting in the scrap yard, he had a lot of time to think. He thought, every body thinks I'm a monster. He even thought he was a monster. Jake, not knowing he had supersonic hearing heard screams in the distance. Without thinking, he sprang up and started running at highway speed. He darted over to the scene where he saw another meteor,like the one that hit him, hurtling towards the earth at rocket speeds. All of a sudden, jake felt a tingling sensation, and before he knew it he was flying with rockets on his feet towards the meteor. He all of a sudden had the urge to yell and lasers flew out of his eyes and the meteor burst into little tiny pebbles. Everybody started cheering as jake started descending to the ground. Every one gathered around him and now he knew what he was. A hero.
