I tapped my fingers on my keyboard trying to think of what to do. I'd been sitting here for at least an hour and not even Taehyung has popped in. I lightly blew my hair away from my face. It had rained just a bit ago leaving the display outside my window to look rather muggy and gloomy. Beautiful. The clock always has to go slower when you have nothing to do. I decided to just leave my office for a while.

Without giving notice to anyone I sneakily waltzed toward the door, opening it and breathing the fresh "just rained" smell. The dim and serene setting of the evening making the walk more enjoyable. With a refreshing sense of calm I began down the trail to the café I always went to with Taehyung.

The streets seemed to become fuller as I walked further away from my office, it made the once cool and calm atmosphere change into a tense and crowded one. Searching for an escape I quickly found a back alley. Sketchy. Looking around I took the passage as my last resort. I quickly ducked down it and rested against the wall. A sudden wave of tiredness washed over me and I closed my eyes.

My quiet moment of peace was disrupted by the faint sound of footsteps. Panic started to settle in. I slowly stood up from my place of rest quickly walking away from the sound. I picked up the pace as they seemed to be getting closer.

I went to turn the corner but the person grabbed my arm.

"What's a pretty girl like you doing all alone," he asked with a disgusting look on his face. His grip on my wrist tightening as he pilled my body towards his. No thank you sir. I fought back with all I could even though he was clearly stronger than I am.

"Are you lost?" He asked with a soft voice, his gaze capturing mine. His eyes were filled with bad intentions as he snarled at me. No no no, this is not and WILL NOT happen.

"I can take you with me and show you around," his voice had a low growl and he pulled my arm roughly. My eyes wandered the scene looking for a way out. The only exits were the one I came through, he blocked the rest of the path.

"C'mon missy, it'll be fun," he started to drag me deeper into the alley. I kicked his leg hoping to cause a distraction. The anger packed behind his eyes built up, he  punched my stomach and threw me on the ground. I tried to stand only to feel the heel of his shoe shove bac to my original spot on the ground. I moved my legs to my chest to prevent his from kicking my stomach. I groaned when he kicked me further into the ground, my eyes flooded with tears blocking my vision. I looked up at him and he smiled. Sadistic jerk.

He went to pull me up when a fist made contact with his face. A rather colorless blur pushed him away from where I was. I sat up and wiped my eyes to see that my savior had been a girl dressed in dark hues, her hair was bob length and fit her face perfectly. She observed my face and scrunched her nose. "Leave her alone-" she said with another blow to his face. She pushed him away with a kick of her large boots and he ran off.

She sat knelt before me, "Are you gonna be okay?" She asked with a concerned look, I nodded.

"Thank you," I said as she held put her hand for me. I took it and stood. She kept her soft hold on my hand and looked over the wounds on my arms. Just bruises and a few cuts, nothing too major.

"You should sit down," she suggested. I agreed.

We walked to the nearest café which happened to be across the street. We stepped in and were graced by the scent of the baked goods. The walls were decorated with stripped cream and pale pink colored wallpaper.

"Mmmm~" We said in unison, we laughed.

Suddenly the question dawned on me, how did I not ask this already?  "What's your name my hero," I smiled.

"Diamond," she said coolly but with a small grin. Something about that name threw me off, like it wasn't her real name or something.

"And yours," she asked as we walked to one of the tables. A petite woman came over and took our order, before smiling and walking off.

"Y/n," I replied. Diamond studied my face, seeming to be memorizing my features before smiling, we both turned to get our drinks from the waitress, I took a sip of mine.

Suddenly she tensed up, "Don't turn around," she said through clenched teeth.

"Why?" I whispered, she shushed me. I straightened my back and crossed my arms. She gave an apologetic look but didn't answer my question.

I watched as her eyes scanned the room, she occasionally looked down at me pretending to have a conversation with me. This lasted to long for my liking and made me really uncomfortable, what was this for anyway?

"Okay we're good now," she said with a smile. She was so strange about it.

"Why did you have to scare me like that exactly?" I asked and tilted my head.

"The man had come in here looking for you a again," she stirred her drink with her straw, "idiot, he ever hurts someone again and he wont have two legs to walk on" she spat. I looked around the small café filled with an assortment of people from older looking ladies drinking tea and laughing at each other, to what I presume were college students studying.

"Do me a favor Y/n" she said my name softly as she regained my attention, "Maybe rethink walking into a side street by yourself in the evening next time you're out, okay?" She asked me with a smile. I simply nodded. She studied my face, "I mean that," she stirred the drink with her straw, "you're lucky I was here this time but I can't promise that'll be the case every time."

"What were you doing out at this time anyway?" she asked after a bit of silence. Her skeptical look replaced the smile she had worn. Her eyes bore accusingly into mine as though I had done it on purpose.

I looked down and shrugged, "Work is just... boring I guess." my excuse was bad I know, but it was the truth and I hadn't done anything wrong so, what's the harm in it.

She suddenly got a very proud look on her face, "Not at my job, we leave the office almost everyday and go on what boss calls 'adventures'," the use of that word seemed all too familiar to me. The idea of my prestigious yet ridiculous friend came to mind.

"Who do you work for?" She shifted in her seat, suddenly looking uncomfortable and avoiding my gaze as though I'd asked a dangerous question.

"Can't tell you that one, he doesn't like his name spread around, not sure why though." she is definetly talking about Jimin, but he loves popularity, that part doesn't add up.

Suddenly her phone went off, she answered. A few "yeah"s and "okay sure"s later she hung up and looked at me with a small smile. "Another 'adventure', can you get home without getting hurt please," she began to gather her stuff, throwing her jacket over her shoulders like a cape.

I noticed a small sheet of paper as it fell from her coat. I hastily grabbed at it and went to return it. It was too late, she had pressed the door open and I watched as she left the small shop. I looked down at the small piece of paper in my hands. It was a small folded note, the front read "To be given to Ms. Lee". It confused me as I don't remember telling her my last name.

I took the executive decision of opening the paper. It was the invitation to a meeting. One with someone by the name of Ms. Lalisa. This name was new, but Taehyung would probably tell me I had to go anyways. Something about upholding a good reputation.
