Augustens eyes fluttered open. He slowly sat upright in his bed, trying not to wake Anthony, who was asleep beside him. He knew that Anthony was a light sleeper. He looked around their room. It was very dark, nearly pitch black, even. Augusten carefully pulled the blankets that were covering him off and neatly set them on Anthony to cover him up. He hopped off of the bed and onto his feet. Then a sharp pain pierced his back and then his stomach. “Argh!!” Augusten grunted as he grabbed his stomach with one hand. He was now 2 months pregnant, although it didn't look like it. He still looked completely normal, surprisingly. He then gasped as he could feel something hot rising up his throat. He sprinted out of their dorm, almost tripping multiple times over things on the dark floor,he turned down the hall and he burst into the nearest restroom just in time to vomit. He coughed as the puke left a burning sensation inside his throat and a foul taste in his mouth. He cleaned up what hadn't landed in the toilet, flushed what had made it in,and washed the disgusting taste out of his mouth with a couple cups of water before stumbling back through the dark hallway only to be greeted halfway back by his partner. “I was looking for you. What are you doing up so early in the morning? It's like, 4am,ya know.” Augusten sighed deeply before collapsing into his partners arms and mumbling “Morning sickness…..” Augusten had barely woken up 15 minutes ago and he was already exhausted. Anthony picked up the sick German bridal style and brought him back to their room. Anthony softly set Augusten down onto their bed,but instead of going back to sleep, like he truly wanted to,Augusten got back up and slowly slid onto a chair that was connected to a desk. Anthony watched in curiosity. Augusten pulled out a stack of papers and a pencil. He gripped the pencil tightly and began writing. “What are you doing?” Anthony asked. “Paperwork......” Augusten sighed. “Babe, you need rest. It's not healthy for you to stay up like this, especially not now.” Augusten yawned deeply. “Just, let me finish the rest of this fragment of my work, and then we can go back to bed, alright?” Anthony sighed and then nodded. “Well,i don't want to leave you awake here by yourself. Want me to make you some food?” Augustens stomach churned at the thought of food. He was actually very hungry. “Yes,please.” Anthony nodded again and walked out of the bedroom and into what he assumed to be the kitchen, since he heard cooking equipment being moved around outside the room he was in. After a moment of listening,he went back to writing. There were papers about the war, about the teams, about the Mercenaries, and then there was that one paper about the next visit to Ludwigs office to discuss Augusten's conditions. Although it made him uncomfortable to talk about it to people he didn't trust,he felt that he could trust Ludwig. He was his brother, after all. So he signed the paper, before going onto other papers. After a while he became more and more drowsy. He tried to stay awake, but eventually,he ended up passing out on his desk. At least the fragment of work he promised to finish was done. After a little more time passed,Anthony walked into the bedroom with food for the both of them. He then saw that Augusten was asleep before whispering to himself,”I told you that ya needed rest.....”. He walked over to the nightstand beside the bed and set their plates on its surface before walking over to Augusten’s desk. He grabbed the pile of papers that were signed and began going through them. “War,Teams,Mercenaries,Oh!” He held up the paper that addressed the meeting with Ludwig about Augusten. A soft smile grew on his face as he read it. He sighed and chuckled, before grabbing the pencil that Augusten was using to sign the papers as well and writing his signature next to Augustens. He didn't want Augusten to know it,because Augusten wasn't very ecstatic about the meetings, but Anthony couldn't wait for their next meeting with Ludwig. Then he proceeded to hide the paper back in the stack of the rest of the paperwork. He then scooped Augusten up and into his arms, before laying the unconscious German into their bed and covering him up with his favorite blanket. Anthony then crawled into bed beside him, pulling another blanket over himself. He wrapped his arms around Augustine's torso, and nuzzling his head into Augusten's stomach. “Two months,Augusten,we're two months in.” as if conscious to hear this,Augusten mumbled something to himself that Anthony couldn't quite understand, before hugging Anthony in return. With all the warmth covering him from his partners body,he fell asleep pretty quickly, and before he knew it,it was late morning, and the sunlight that was shining through the windows woke both him and Augusten up. Augusten let out a dry sob before jumping out of bed and running out of the room faster than Anthony thought he could. Once he came back, they both agreed that they would eat the food that Anthony made earlier that morning,so it wouldn't go to waste, and the both of them were just plain starving.
