Haikyuu!! One-Shots

Jealous ~ Yuu Nishinoya

You and your group had just returned to the school. You and some first years took part in a new school third year experience. You guys had spent 2 weeks in Tokyo. A week with one school and one with another. One with Nekoma and the other with Fukurodani. Ukai allowed you to work as assistant coach. You want to couch younger students and thought this would be good experience. Although, little kids won't be as hard working, it's kind of like these guys are anyways.

A few weeks before the trip those wanting to participate had to look at a list of third years at Nekoma and Fukurodani. You recognized two names, one at the bottom of each list. The names being Kuroo Tetsurou and Kotaro Bokuto. Kuroo from Nekoma and Bokuto from Fukurodani. You had known them and got along well on your big brothers summer training camp trip. Which was also coach training for you. Besides helping the Karasuno team you were challenged to coach each team through a game despite knowing barely anything about them and trusting players words. Afterwards, you would change and practice with some after. Besides assistant coaching the guys team you played on the girls but they had few practices so you did what you could.

On the trip you would stay a week following a third year to their school. Sit during class and listen and be their shadow basically. As well after school hours you'd hang with them and be staying at their place. Rumors were normally those who have done the trip so far that year lasted not even a day before Bokuto or Kuroo scared them off and the student gave up and went home. You figure you'll be fine knowing them.

As the trip came around you were anything but scared away. Kuroo was happy to have you with him. You went with him to his volleyball practices and practiced with the team. You may have snuck off once during the week to game with Kenma. But Kuroo easily found you. You had a lot of fun during the Nekoma week and learned a bit about the third year life. As well in Fukurodani, the same kind of thing happened. Only instead of sneaking off to Kenma you went to see Akaashi and hang out with him. Easily being found by Bokuto who thought you were kidnapped from right beside him. On the weekend while you were with Kuroo you guys ended up going to visit Bokuto. You three watched movies and did such stupid stuff. You successfully didn't get injured. Their egos maybe did a bit. The same thing happened while you were at Bokuto's. During the weekend time Kuroo came. The days flew by and soon it was time you went home. You missed the guys. Two weeks without your crows.

After the group was dropped off at the school Monday evening you checked the time. The guys would still be having their late practice. You said goodbye to the others and ran to the gym. The moment you opened the door everything stopped.

“Miss me?” You ask. Everyone shouts your name happy you are back but Nishinoya and Tanaka and Hinata come running and tackle you in a hug. You weren't ready for it and you all ended up on the floor.

“WE MISSED YOU,” The three shout hugging you tightly. You blush feeling someone's hand a little in the wrong spot on you chest. You glance and quickly follow the arm to be Nishinoya.

“You learn anything kid?” Ukai asks you. The guys get off you and stand.

“Bokuto's an idiot. Kuroo’s no better. Nekoma is amazing. Fukurodani is amazing. Those idiots are smarter than they act. Holy that classwork is hard. I'm sorry for giving you slack about how much you study Sugamom!” you say to Koshi. He's more like a mom then big brother to you. But you love him.

“You know. You should have cleaned your room before you left and you said you were going to do a bunch of other stuff,” Sugamom says. You stick your tongue out.

“Yeah but then I got busy with other stuff like getting ahead on school work for the weeks and stuff” I say.

“So what all did you do?” Daichi asks. You guys practice some light rallies while you talk. You explain what you did while hanging with Kuroo, Kenma, Bokuto, and Akaashi. The others laughed and such at some of the stupid things and were having fun talking with you glad you were back. Except, Nishinoya. He was being real quiet and was slightly off his game. He wasn't receiving as well as normal.

“Hey! Noya! You okay?” Tanaka yells as he notices.

“Yeah. Fine,” Noya says. Suga and Daichi look at each other.

“No you aren't,” Suga states. You glance at them curious what they are talking about.

“You've been quiet ever since Y/N came back and started telling us about her trip,” Dachi says. Then you and the others realize something. You blush and look down.

“Wait Noya! Are you jealous?” the others shout at him. He mumbles and looks away. You notice how cute he looked when he looked away. Noya looks at you laughing.

“What's so funny?” He asks.

“You seem adorable when jealous. Nothing happened. I'm pretty sure Kuroo wants to get in Kenma’s pants and Bokuto in Akaashi’s. We are and will only be friends. Crazy, meme worthy friends. Besides…. I like someone else,” You say. It clues in for the others but not Noya.

“Oh…” He says and looks down. The others groan.

“Noya…. Its you,” You say. His head snaps up to you eyes wide.

“Really!” He says starting to get excited.

“Only if you smarten up and be the best libero like I know you are!” You say to cheer him up. He smirks. It worked.

“Yeah! Let's go! No more nice rallies. Send me the hardest ones you can!” he says. And at that moment they split into a practice game. You and Ukai look at it as a challenge of coaching and to see how well you've grown. You coach Noya's side through the game and Ukai does the other side. Your side wins and you all clean up. After you all head home. Suga bugs you about Noya and you fight back saying he and Daichi are close. He huffs and argues. You get home and immediately fall asleep snuggled in your bed.

The next day you get back to school and find out the teacher gave you too much work so you are a little ahead. You work on other stuff at a different pace. Lunch comes and you sit back with Tsukishima and Yamaguchi. You are talking and laughing with them when there is murmurs about second year's on the first floor. Then you turn and see Noya in your classroom doorway. He was watching you laugh with Tsukki and Yams and getting jealous again. You smile seeing him.

“Hey! Y/N! Want to go with me to get ice cream after school!” He asks a little loud and clearly jealous of you laughing with the others as well almost like he was scared to come ask. It's a little embarrassing because everyone has turned to look at you. Even people in the hallway stopped to hear your response. You blush and nod.

“Yeah! I'd love too!” You say back.

“Great! See you!” He says before turning and leaving from the doorway. Tanaka passes by following and gives you a thumbs up before laughing at Noya. Well now you have something to look forward to after school
