Ezra and his mother are at their how talking about what to do with the padawan. Later Ezra goes to the cell the padawan is in when he gets there he asked for her name and she said it was Novi. Ezra then asked where she was from and she said she was from the planet Mithovis and they talked about their past she doesn't know why but she feels like she could trust him. Later Ezra tells her if you want Novi you could join us and be part of the family I will be your brother Novi said she will think about it. They continued to talk for a while when they are done talking Ezra says good bye and that he will be back tomorrow or the day after. Ezra then gets home and tells his mother about what he talked about with Novi and about her joining the family. Novi is in the cell thinking about what Ezra said and thought back how she was homeless and left to be a slave. Later she decides to join Ezra's family but she is worried what would happen when she runs in to Kanan what would he do. The next day Ezra shows up at the cell and asked if she thought about joining the family and Novi says she will join them she then asked what about when Kanan finds out and Ezra says don't worry we will protect you we are family after all and that makes Novi smile. Ezra and Novi then walk out to a speeder and Ezra take Novi to a hospital and gets her a new arm and when they are done Ezra takes her to her new home and shows her around and shows her to her room and then introduces her to her new mom.
