Nemesis

Park Jinhye felt their hands all over her body, a pair of sweaty palms tracing morphed shapes on to her already clammy skin. Their mouth embracing the shell of her ear in some forced attempt of stimulation, the words creating a cloud of poison in her inner ear. Her breathed hitched, catching painfully in her throat; however this sudden inability to breathe was not caused by some form of overwhelming sexual attraction but instead was caused by pure fear and disappointment. Fear that this person was about to get the better of her and do what ever they may please. Disappointment that she, daughter of the most feared gang members in the whole of the northern hemisphere, allowed this person in and let them get this close. Park Jinhye could feel the sweat bead on her skin, slithering down like rain on a window in monsoon season. She could feel her muscles tense and her veins strain against her skin. she could feel her eyes bulge out of her head when she came to the realization she wasn't getting out of this; at least not until they had their way with her.

Screams could be heard all through the corridors of small apartment, a scream that would make blood run cold, it was shrill and painful but most of all full of fear. All of a sudden the dorm bust into action, everyone following the heart-breaking sound. Park Eunha got to the door first and burst through it with all she had, almost falling through it to the other side. Soon after her came Song Daeun and Moon Seoyun. As the three's eyes met the scene in front of them they stopped.

Jinhye was tossing and turning on the dishevelled mattress, her hands raking up and down her body, crimson lines appearing on her toned skin in the wake of her fingers. Her quilt was on the floor in a large pile like it had been thrown off in a panic, her pillow was laden with tear with sections of it so consumed by sadness it had turned a completely different shade. The young girls hair stuck to her fore head like it was adhered with super glue, her sweat mixing with tears. Her voice was becoming rough and grainy with each scream, the sound smothering the room and transforming it in to some kind of hell. After composing herself Eunha rushed to Jinhye's side, ordering the other girls to get towels and water. Eunha shaking hands held tightly on to her best friends shoulders and she tried to force her awake, becoming more concerned as each minute passed. Eventually the other girls came back with stuff to try and help, passing Eunha a water bottle as they set everything down. Quickly Eunha unscrewed the cap and through it over her friend in a last ditch attempt at removing her from whatever nightmare she was enduring. Suddenly the screaming was replaced with coughing and spluttering as Jinhye shot up in her bed. Overwhelmed by the whole ordeal Jinhye started to sob and each of the girls embraced her. It was a long night of explanations and past experiences but it was also a night of bonding between the three girls. That night they decided that together they were stronger than when they were apart and vowed to stay by each others sides regardless of where the criminal activities and lives may take them.

Together they became Olympia, and gave each other new names, each girl being named after a different Greek goddess. Park Jinhye became Artemis, goddess of the hunt. Park Eunha became Até, goddess of mischief. Song Daeun became Elpis, goddess of rumour. Moon Seoyun became Eris, goddess of chaos. Together they vowed to rise and become the most feared gang in South Korea. Together they would defeat anything in there way. Apart they were strong but together, they we powerful.

(A/N – So welcome to Nemesis. I really hope you enjoy this first installment of what I hope to be a very good book. Although this chapter is very short chapters with become longer as we get more into this book, this chapter is just for you all to understand some of the choices made by the girls and why they are so close. As this book goes on I hope to go in and have a more in-depth look at each girls problems, and use it as a way to understand these characters even further.
