Momo sat on the sofa with her legs crossed, a textbook placed in her lap, and the television was playing a music channel that she stopped paying attention to a while ago.
She figured since everyone was out training or studying in the library, that she would take advantage of the quiet and do her own studying in the common room.
She sighed and laid her head against the back of the couch, closing her eyes for a bit of rest, and to enjoy the rare break of peace.
Momo glanced at her phone to check the time, she'd been at it for a little while, maybe she would take a break and get a snack.
Her attention was quickly drawn to the door as it slowly opened. Mineta slipped in, not seeming to notice her presence just yet.
Mineta shut the door behind himself, a slightly somber look on his face. Momo watched him to see what he would do. Mineta dumped his bag next to the couch, and placed his shoes next to it. Iida will no doubt scold him about that if he found out.
Mineta looked up, finally noticing Momo watching him from her perch on the sofa.He glanced at her lap, and the piles of books and papers surrounding her. A thoughtful look crossed Minetas face as he looked back up at her face.
“Do you wanna take a snack break with me?”,
Momo stared at him a little longer, she was expecting a pickup line, a flirty remark or something equally, well, Mineta.
But his voice was softer, a little to quiet, his usual lisp was there, she recognized that tone though.
This was a different Mineta, one that she was sure she was the only one to see , Momo knew how to handle this.
A tune they've been dancing to since they've moved in the dorms.
Momo nodded, not yet speaking so she wouldn't break the blanket of silence, and calm that covered them as soon as Mineta had walked in..
Momo gently closed her book, and laid it on the table. Mineta silently gestured for her to follow him into the kitchen, she obliged.
Their socked feet made no noose as they padddd into the kitchen, Momo took her place upon a barstool as Minet pulled the step stool from its designated spot.
Momo remembers making it, namely for Mineta, Tokoyami, and Tsuyu.
Mineta started to pull various ingredients from the cabinets, he placed them on the bar in front of her.
He dragged his own stool over to sit in front of Momo. Carefully, Mineta measured, and stirred the ingredients into the mixing bowl.
Momos kept her dark eyes trained on the calm, concentrated look that was etched upon his face.
She took this chance to study his face a little more, Momo had never really noticed before, but Minetas eyes were a pretty shade of dark purple.
His eyes reminded her of an amethyst ring her mother favored.
But in Momos opinion, some jewel couldn't hold a candle to the shine, and swirls of emotions in Minetas eyes.
Mineta pulled out a muffin pan, and placed the papers in the openings.
She continued to watch as he pre-heated the oven, and poured the batter with a practiced grace.
Mineta placed the pan in the oven, and took his place back on his stool. He kept his eyes downcast, his hands fidgeting on the counter top.
Momo watched him carefully, she reached her hand over, and wrapped her slender fingers around Minetas hand.
She intertwined their fingers.Mineta stared, slightly shocked as Momo squeezed his hand, and rubbed the pad of her finger against the soft skin of his knuckle.
