I was waiting by the large front doors in a black skirt that floated in the draft coming from the door, the skirt reaching just above my knee, a jade green jumper that made the white color of my shirt pop, my hair cascaded down my back like a waterfall of gold stopping just under my shoulder blade. What is taking them so long, have I got the right time, my foot struck the stone floor with rhythm as I started to hum, I heard footsteps coming closer making the beat of my foot sound almost complete? I turned around meeting steel grey, his all-black suit made his fair hair look even lighter "so you're ready?" his voice echoed throughout the hall "y-yeh" I averted my gaze to my black leather boots "Mother doesn't normally take this long" I heard him mutter, and then my senses went black.
I blinked. My hands full of bags of books and material, a black cat with lime green looked up at me purring through the wicker box on my lap. My back was leaned up against a brick wall, the wall opposite was made of bricks too. I looked up and down the alleyway spotting bright blonde hair Draco I picked up all that seemed to be my things and ran after the blond head of hair, it was pretty empty in the streets so it was easy to follow but I felt eyes shoot through me and land on Draco. Someone else is following him, but who? And why? I crept behind Draco and Narcissa, one step after the other made chills run up my spine that was until I heard a rock tumbled onto the floor behind me, I spun on my heel looking for my surroundings but only found the empty old alleyway "h-hello? Is anyone there?" No answer. Must've been my paranoia I continued walking down the alley trying to keep up with Draco and his mother, I took a left and saw a couple of men in a group hunched over one another bottles in their hands the stubble on their chins making them seem older then they might've been. I quickly turned around to walk back to the original path only to bump into a girl with a mane of chestnut spirals who looked around my age "I am so sorry I wasn't looking where I was going" my hand gripped tighter onto my luggage "maybe just watch where you're going next time" she laughed a little whilst she spoke "c'mon Hermione" a boy with bright red hair and freckles spotted all over his face called out to her beckoning her to hurry up and so she ran off.
I walked onwards casually strutting down every passage there was alone frightened and a little tired. However, the last path seemed different from the others, it was narrow and the brickwork for both buildings was very wonky, smoke gushed along with a fragrance of something odd and peculiar. I cautiously walked down the narrow alley. A man sat next to a crate rocking back and forth mumbling something his eyes were bloodshot and wide, as if he had just saw someone die. I quickly walked past him, my hands gripped onto my bags so tightly that my knuckles were going white "are you lost wee lass?" The mans Irish accent caught me off guard and the stench of alcohol hit me like a truck "I-I'm fine thank you" I tried to walk past him but felt a hand grab my arm, my confidence crumbled to the floor and all that was left was fear pure fear. I couldn't speak let me go I beg of you just let me go I wanted to, I wished he would've let go but he didn't. My vision was getting blurry, in fact everything was becoming hazy the wizard wasn't alone, I could hear other voices and different scents, it was becoming too much these scoundrels only wanted sex and I knew it (or at least that's what I have been told about situations like this). That's when I felt something cold dancing across my neck. A hand. Everything was clear now, I was to attack, to escape, it was my only option. But instead like the coward I am and ripped my body out of their grasp and ran, ran for my life. I didn't know if they were following and I didn't care, one year after the other rolled down my face.
I turned corners from left to right to left again, I couldn't find an exit out of this place it was as if the walls didn't want me to leave I just want to go back, please let me find him I want to see him again. Left, right, left, right, there was no escape. My throat was closing up. I couldn't breathe. I was suffocating. In, out, in, out, as if that would work. I kept running and running and running. "Please I just want to go home", my body collided with another body it was tall and lean but still broad, I looked up and blind hair flashed in my eyes I found you tears streamed down my face "why are you here?" His voice was cold but I hoped that behind it was sympathy and warmth "I-I woke up with t-these bags and couldn't find you but saw you a-and tried to catch up with you b-b-But then I got lost and these men were har-harassing me and and and"
"Just take a deep breath, your fine now. No one's going to hurt you" his expression softened and I wiped the tears "let's just get you back" I nodded my head and trailed behind him. Why was he in that shop?
